Sundry and Vice - Cocktail bar in Indianapolis - 850 Massachusetts Ave, USA

Not your typical hotel bar. Maybe because it isn't owned by the hotel. They have a really cool, retro atmosphere. I had my doubts on some of their cocktails, but they turned out very good. Mixes I never would have thought of. Very friendly bar tenders, too. Great cocktail bar across from The Garage at NE end of Mass Ave. Check it out.

Sundry and Vice is a gorgeous place with an awesome, moody and pop-y vibe. Staff are incredible and even directed us on great places to go and the drinks were fantastic! Highly recommend!

A good place to hit for a nightcap. It’s strange for a hotel bar that is closed on Mondays as it’s a night of football. If I was an owner, I would realize how much lost income due to the fact that the hotel bar that doesn’t support a major night of the NFL. Took all 16 of my team members to a bar down the street.

A nice bar/lounge for cocktails & conversation at Bottleworks! We enjoy this place, but on last visit, we had just come out of a company Christmas 🎄 DInner across the hall, with a couple of us bringing our near empty wine glasses. When we finished them, we ordered more & continued using the nicer glasses (with stems) from our hotel dinner. A bar tender at Sundry & Vice implied we were bringing in beverages from outside when we had in fact purchased all new beverages from Sundry & had the tab to prove it. It was an unnecessary, unexpected, uncomfortable situation. We had about 10 people there for hours on a Wed evening, by far the bar's biggest advocate that evening. We ask they look at the bigger picture & not worry about the small stuff from their supportive patrons.

4.5+ Newest cocktail bar in Bottleworks. Great atmosphere. All drinks are ordered at the bar, no table service which makes things quick when wanting a drink. Nice, low-mid level lighting. Very friendly, all around enjoyable music. Drinks are above average and very unique. The draft cocktails are good, and hand made prior to draft. The draft drinks run $1 less than craft draft prices and are amazing for a draft cocktail. BUT you can get a personalized, hand-craft mixed cocktail for only 1 dollar more by the wonderful bar staff. Cocktails themselves could use a little adjusting and possibly a more in-depth drink menu, but for only their 3rd night open, it's pretty wonderful. Overall, I'd highly recommend giving it a try here, lots of potential of being THE downtown go-to spot for relaxing with a great beverage! 🙂

My husband and I decided to pop in here while waiting for our table at Bodhi. It was a rainy Friday night and there was plenty of available seating. We entered through the hotel’s main entrance where the bar is just to the left. A hostess checked our id’s upon entry and then told us we could sit wherever we’d like. My husband ordered us drinks at the bar. Both were enjoyable and had high quality ingredients. The atmosphere is dark and moody and the service was friendly. I’d definitely return and look forward to trying more of their cocktails.

God this is my favorite bar EVER! The drinks are always bangin- and the bartenders are the coolest people there! HIGHLY recommend the Hot Head or the Devil in Winter- but there are no wrong choices. The bar i take my friends to in Indy when they visit!

This place is a very nice place for a drink. The atmosphere is relaxing and the drinks were very good!
