Sundial Lodge by Park City - Lodge in Park City - 4000 Canyons Resort Dr, USA

Booked a room for our anniversary in August. When we checked in, they told us they had no free parking for guests!! What?? Nope-it’s been taken over by a third party so it cost 50$ to park for 2 days. I’m a travel agent, and other than Hawaii and a couple places near Disney this was a first for me! Nothing about the extra costs on the website either. The room was ok but the air conditioning was out. So for 2 days during the “heat dome” which was between 92-100 degrees we had no ac. Literally couldn’t sleep and slept in a puddle. Also no fan in the room. When we told the front desk she said, “oh really-huh. Ok well thanks” ??? Great customer service Sundial!!? So do we recommend? Nope. 😣

Great location. A little dated. Ski valets were awesome. Great restaurants and shops. Outdoor plunge pool and hot tub on the third floor was great. Rooms not the cleanest. Crumbs on the pullout bed, stains on sheets, dirty shower curtain. Front desk was indifferent. Didn’t show much care. With all that said, I would still stay here again. Great value for the location. You get what you pay for. But a little love would go a long way.

My son and I loved it. Good location as far as stores, restaurants, and trails down from the hill. Fairly priced AND have complimentary parking! We thought the room was cute & cozy. I had no issues with my room. We had access to the pools, hot tub & fitness room. Front desk staff was friendly & welcoming. Definitely would stay here again!

Stayed in a one bedroom premium suite and really like the accommodations. The room was comfortable and the decor was up to date. The main perk of this Lodge though is the location, you can't really get any better location wise in the Canyons area. Lots of restaurants all around you and the lifts are less than a 5 minute walk away. It's truly one of the best hotels to stay at in the Canyons area but I'd highly recommend booking one of the newer style rooms if you stay here.

The condo was overall nice inside and seemed clean. Didn’t have robes for the hot tub though some reviews said they did. The front desk service is ok, not great. The ski locker service was. The front desk attendants seem bothered at times having to answer questions. Location was good for Canyons.

Stayed here with my 14 year old daughter. The location to the Red Pine Gondola is very convenient and is definitely the strong suit of this location. However, once the slopes close there isn't much to do. It's about a 25 to 30 dollars Uber to downtown Park city. Our room didn't have Kitchen and dinning options are very limited. I'd recommend renting a car or getting a room with a full kitchen and ordering groceries if you are going to stay here.

Hard to get a better location. In the middle of Canyons village and a short walk to the gondola or orange bubble lift. Skis and boot storage just off the main lobby. Our room had very little lighting which made reading after dark difficult. But you come here for the location

There's nothing to do there literally at all. Apparently, nothing opens in Park City area or the resort area until the end of June. We were very disappointed. Also, they had a small children's play area outside....yeah, they wanted me to pay for their sitter for her to be able to play in it....very rude. The front desk people were friendly but couldn't answer any general questions.
