Sundance-High Plains RV Park and Cabins - Indoor lodging in Lamar - 29151 US-287, USA

Love this place! Clean, owners are super nice and loved on our dog! Office is beautiful and rooms are very clean and comfortable-this is our 3rd stay and will always stop on our trips to and from Wyoming-thanks for making our trip and stay seamless! Oh, the coffee and conversation is superb!

We are in quite a large fifth wheel 42 ft. It was kind of awkward getting into our site. They're built a little strange. Owner's are super nice. It is the off season so things weren't in tip top shape. Lots of monthly rental RVs. Small hotel. Nice little dog park for the dog to run around. Friendly kitty cats everywhere.

This was an amazing, clean place to camp over night. The men who worked the front desk were kind, helpful, and had us laughing. The front office was immaculate and beautiful. They did tell us they are in the process of renovating the bathrooms. The shower/bathroom are the only reason we gave 4/5 stars. We would visit again if we are ever out this way.

The property is very charming and tidy, the clubhouse/office is very warm and wonderfully decorated with posters and old souvenir plates from National Parks. The owners are friendly, easy going and helpful. As others have said, the all in one shower toilet thing has to be addressed, it’s in need of a gut-and-redo. The dog park is great. I wasn’t sure what to make of the layout looking a google maps when I made the reservation, but I thought, it’s only one night, let’s give it a go. Well, i have to say, it’s odd. There’s plenty of maneuvering space in the gravel lot, but the campers are arranged right next to each other around the perimeter, facing in opposite directions. It’s like they are buddy sites, but the buddies don’t like each other 😝 We had no one next to us during our stay, but if there had been a big motorhome there it would have felt cramped.

We stayed in the RV section, not the hotel. The grounds were full of trash, as was our firepit. Sites were not well spaced and basically on top of each other. The washer and dryer were full of dog hair. Cannot recommend this place as it was WAY overpriced for what they offer. Could be a nice stopover if maintained better.

The guys were super! The park is very nice as are the cabins. I appreciated the extra care they extended since happenings beyond my control made me late. I will be staying again when I have to stop in Lamar. Thank you for all your help and support! See you soon!

Great spot to stop ! Clean, and easily accessible. Very nice campground ! Owners were helpful, funny and best of all… their resident kitty cats were super sweet and freindly 🐈‍⬛🐈. Would def stay here again!!

Property is charming, hosts were very nice, but hook-ups are too close to your neighbor. No space in between, as you share the hook-ups. Bathroom and especially the shower needs a major upgrade. We skipped it, and had a wonderful shower at our next stop. Property is close to a road, however the road is not very busy at night. We wouldn't stay again due to the set up of sharing hook-ups so close, also an upgraded shower, since there is only one co-ed, would be nice.
