Late lunch for five adults. Breakfast ends at 2 pm. We got there after two. No wait for seating. Courteous greeting and our order was promptly taken. Side salads were fresh. Onion rings were fantastic and done right. All the entrees were hot and fresh. Our server checked on us frequently. Would like to come back and try breakfast items.
Our server, Nicole was excellent.
I had the BBQ bacon burger. It was very tasty. Perfect size to get full. The sweet potato fries were fresh cut and very good.
My wife had the French Dip and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend Sundance Grill.
The breakfast was excellent. I had a spinach and feta omelet and coconut French toast (awesome), and my kids had croissant breakfast sandwiches. It was all fresh and delicious.
I’m awarding 5 for food quality and price, because that’s what matters most to me.
There were some minute things about the service I could mention, but I won’t because it was a busy morning. The staff was friendly enough and did their job so I’m not going to nitpick. The food was outstanding.
Stopped by here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend while we were in the area. Has a nice assortment of options, like burgers, cold sandwiches, warm subs, salads, soups, etc. I had the gyro wrap and husband had the mushroom Swiss burger. We both had the best sweet potato fries we’ve ever had as sides. A perfect crisp on the outside and soft, sweet center. Also shared a fried ice cream. Nice staff, lots of tables inside, and plenty of parking outside. Would recommend.
Delicious food and excellent service. We were staying in this area for a few days and decided to try a local breakfast spot. I’m glad we decided to eat here. The food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the Irish Benedict and it was wonderful. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the home fries, they were just chopped up red potatoes and they didn’t have much flavor to them at all. But the rest of my food was great! My husband ordered the hungry man breakfast and he enjoyed his food also. The pancakes were huge. Cute little restaurant in downtown Hiawassee. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.
Great customer service. The food is really good. But first time we went for dinner, my husband & I wasn't very excited about it. The meatloaf wasn't the best. My husband couldn't even eat it & he normally never turn back a meatloaf. I still give them 5 stars because of there customer service. Now we know what to expect for dinner, but we said first & last time. Breakfast still the best.
They are pet friendly tho.🐕🐾♥️
I always stop at this place when passing through Hiawassee. They have really good food. Usually the service is great. Today, not great. We entered and were told by a white girl with stringy long black hair to seat ourselves. We asked if patio was okay… she said yes. We walked out there and had to move some chairs, but found a table. We soon realized we were forgotten about. Another couple came in and were promptly given menus and water. We waited. Finally I got up and asked if we could please get some service as we had been waiting about 10 minutes. The blonde waitress brought us menus. We asked a few menu questions about breakfast and she said she would give us a minute. She returned a minute later and told us that we had missed the cut off for breakfast. It was literally 2:08pm. So I mentioned that if they had not forgotten us we would have been able to order in time. She didn’t even bother to ask if we could in fact get breakfast because of our lack of service… so I looked at the lunch menu and since I am a vegetarian the choices were salad or grilled cheese. No thanks. Terrible service. Unfortunate that I wasted 20 minutes just to get some garbage coffee. Unhappy. Telling everyone. This really could have been easily fixed, but I felt like i was treated as if they don’t need my money, so I will probably never be back. Zero stars for service. 5 stars for food if you are allowed to order. Just go to Huddle House, service is better.
Love this place. Been here twice with friends, then took my parents for a second trip. I had the veggie burger both times, but my company had Swiss mushroom burger, flounder and they loved their food. The rolls and salads are great too. The fries were everyone's favorite. Our waitress made the experience great. I didn't catch her name but she's wonderful. We all loved eating out on the porch, I brought my puppy dog and the waitress brought a drink for her. Thanks Sunset Grill!
So you want 5 star food without the pretentious atmosphere? This place has got you covered. I've never been to a restaurant with a more laid back vibe. The lighting, the music, and the staff were all warm and inviting. The food was out of this world.
Best Hostel on the trail because the owners and Nimrod CARE!
They all helped us in super clean and comfortable accommodations, truly great food, and advice that saved us time, weight and money.

Lunch time for three! Order at the counter and they bring to you. Can dine indoors or out on covered porch. Indoor dining area is tight but definitely fits a good BBQ dining spot along with decor. Barely a wait for entrees. Pulled pork sandwiche
Incredible views from the top. The first time I went there was a cloud cover below the top, covering the lakeâ¦it was quite a sight to see.
You can drive all the way up to the top, but there is limited parking up there. Thereâs a secondary lot a
One of my favorite places to visit, itâs the highest pick of Georgia.
Brasstown Bald provides spectacular 360 degree view of the mountains. The best time is to go during fall peak. Drive to visitor center & deck is simply mesmerizing.

We had a party of five for lunch. Promptly sat at a table and our server was over quickly for drink orders and then appetizer orders. We tried the smothered pork cheese fries and the fried green tomatoes- very good, and our server brought spicy ranc
