Suncoast Motel - Motel in Hudson - 14920 US-19, USA

This is the 2nd time we've stayed. 1st time we had some crazy issues and the owner was very sweet and helpful. Now we're here and all is well. Yes u clean your own room and stuff but ummmm don't u do that your own house anyhow. The owner us a nice man. He loves my kids. Always polite and waves to us when we come n go out. Yes there can be some sketchy ppl.lurking around but cmon now we are in Pasco co. The price is something we can actafford. He will also work with you because my husband gets paid at night and he'll wait til the evening to get the room rent. I've stayed at many hotels from Clearwater to hudson and I'd say I feel pretty good here. I'm allowed to decorate I side as I wish to make myself feel like more at home. I wish they had a washer n dryer and pool but I'll live tbh. We do get ants but I have no roaches or bedbugs that other ppl say in their post. I spray for the ants and boom guess what they are gone. I mean in NY when I lived there in a nice house I had ants and had to treat for them it's life. Idk I think ppl get to picky. Since covid life has been hard but I'm ok here and until we find a home I'm happy to be here. Stick with real life rules especially in Pasco co florida always wat h your back, lock your car and room and don't let your kids just willy nilly all over. I mean I'd do that anyplace so 🤷🏻 sorry if u had a bad experience but it doesn't mean we all do. Maybe u had a room a dirty person was in and they left behind a bug or trash and it was missed . I mean even the white house has had bugs so 🤷🏻 🙃 get over it if ur not happy then find another place. I've seen BUGS in "nice expensive " hotels too so idk what to tell u . Stay clean keep ur stuff clean and you'll be ok. And I'm sure if u have a serious issue I k ow darn well the owner WILL come take care of the issue.

We were there it started off rocky bc there were bugs, allot, but, they did take care of the problem although they did return and then they would take care of it again. They tried. They got newer furniture while we were there new beds dressers bedside tables. The bathroom door had a rotted piece at the bottom but the door shut and so wasn't really a problem I guess. The shower leaked for awhile but they did fix it. When fixing it, the worker also thought the sink was leaking so was fixing it and found a syringe in the pipe. No idea how it got there but there it was. Sometimes you could smell "weed" or maybe cigars who knows , coming from other rooms into our room which was a smoking room although we don't smoke so idk why we we were in that room but anyways. I have nothing against people who smoke it but it was travelling to our room where I have a teenager and idk. It's close to seven 11 you can walk a bit to go-to Walmart dollar general winn Dixie but you can get there. We had to walk to the hospital one night bc my son had a reaction to the bug bites from the motel. So I would say the location is decent for stores you might want to go to. Toiletries bedding they provide of course. TV is good wifi worked usually hot water good. Refrigerator was a good size for me and my kid had a freezer with the fridge always a plus. Microwave had glass broken on door so they replaced the microwave as well. I can only speak for our room the two beds were comfortable there was a decent view to the road my son liked keeping the blind open usually to look out. Bugs originally would crawl on me at night which was very anxiety filled but like I said they took care of it over all. The owner was nice and worked with us and tried his best to make our stay welcome. They had a washer and dryer which partially worked but at least they had one. I had to dry the clothes outside on benches and along the motel area because the dryer didn't dry completely but at least they had one.

Terrible, dirty, stinks like cigarettes 🚬. A stranger knocked at my door at around 2AM. It was too expensive for a match box. $70.

Bugs and very small rooms. The toilet in number one doesn't really flush.

If I could give zero stars I would. I stayed their for two weeks and then a week. I was told it was my responsibility to wash my bedding, clean my room, clean my shower, clean my toilet, clean the microwave, make my bed with clean sheets that I pay to wash, I was told it was my job that I had to keep my room 100% of the time. There were ants and roaches everywhere. We had roaches crawling on the bed. Their was ants everywhere we stepped. They were all over the sink. Roaches in the sink and shower as well. The bathroom had open exposed wires coming from the ceiling. The shower was falling apart. Tiles were coming off and their was wholes in the wall. I complained multiple times are room did not have air. I requested a double bed multiple times. The second time we went back got stuck in the same room. Are price was 105 a night. The la Vista inn was 420 with two adults and 3 kids. We stayed at the Suncoast with my 1 year old it was me and my fiance. It was 105 a nice no deposit. We have stayed the la Vista, the rodeway, the la casa, the holiday hotel, motel six, clear water motel, everywhere as we were homeless. I tell all my friends if they need a place to crash the Suncoast ain't it and I got a spare bed come stay with me. I was told because I did not sweep the floor, mop it, wash the cigarette burned blanket, wash the sheets, clean under the mini fridge, clean dirty towels, wash clothes, dirty socks, used shampoos bottles and other hygiene items that were in our room when we checked it we weren't allowed back. Was told that I completely trashed their room. That I didn't become a maid and clean their dirty nasty room they put us in for them. We didnt want that room and worked around the nasty stuff they refused to get out. I broke down and cleaned some of it out. I took the trash out Dailey. Was told I was a nasty filthy slob because I asked for clean towels. Well their shower leaked and it complained the first time. So to give my sun a shower we had to put a towel down on the floor because you know he was 1. He's two now. Just turned two. He was 18 months the first time we stayed. He was 20 months the next time we stayed. The first time we stayed it was all three of my kids and me and fiance. Well they wouldn't give us a two bed. This time their employee well don't know if he worked their but back then he did stole my cat that I offered to pay the pet deposit for. Was told my cat destroyed their room. That my cat who never even got up on our bed without permission destroyed their room because his little feet had mad. Well I'm sorry he's a cat and your floors were filthy to begin with. I asked for a mop multiple times and a broom. I had one the first time I stayed as we stayed for almost a month before we went somewhere that had working air and would give us two beds. We tried multiple times to be nice. Finally the manager said their bedding was trashed because it was dirty from three nights of being their. Three nights with roaches crawling on us. Was told we broke the dressers and night stand. That the medicine cabinet was off the wall. That their was foot prints on the toilet. That the toilet was broke. The sink was broke. I mean we were told their room was completely trashed and had to be decommissioned but yet the owner had my number. Never called me. Never told me I was banned. Never said anything. I have a two bedroom place now. Water, sewer, electric, everything is 475.00 a month and that's rounding up. We have a heated pool two. My kids are not yelled at. My kids are 1 and two. I have twin 1 year olds. They are free to play Infront of my door. My son is free to play at my door now without being yelled at that he can't play outside or sit outside. I mean for a family place definitely don't recommend. If you don't mind a filthy establishment you get exactly that. My cellphone charger, and other items magically went missing as well out of our room after we informed them we were leaving to go somewhere with a bathtub. I own a portable bathtub and shower for my kids now because it was hel there. 0/10 don't recemend

I enjoy being here, the owners are nice And make sure you have clean towels Bedding. It's pricey. But it's a roof over our heads.
