We had a wonderful time. It truly is a "Mom and Pop" place. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable! We had the pleasure of meeting Brian. He was very welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. The views (especially the sunsets) are absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend staying here! It is truly one of a kind!
We absolutely loved this place! We adored every little thing about it! We stayed in Studio 8, which had a very comfortable king bed, a small loveseat pullout (we did not use), a small kitchenette, and we so appreciated the shower setup (the large rainfall shower with a separate hosed shower head, which is so helpful for sand!). The decor was amazing and so cute! The patio was gorgeous, the view amazing, and the short stroll to the beach was so worth every penny spent! The room was a bonus! Yes, parking is tight and the bathroom is small, but with the age of the building, it’s understandable. It didn’t bother us or deter from our love of this place! We enjoyed sunrise on the beach, walked down to grab a coffee at the cafe across the street to enjoy on the beach, had a delicious lunch on the patio via DoorDash, and took in the beach all day! The beach itself was amazing! Gorgeous waters, lots of bird-watching, shells, & sand dollars, etc! We loved the beach supplies (chairs, loungers, umbrellas) being available and noticed even more that we never used (toys, paddle boards, bikes). If we could, we’d give this place a gazillion stars! We can’t wait to go back!
We enjoyed our stay immensely! The overall tranquilness for us was the best part. To wake up and enjoy the beautiful beach everyday was fantastic. Being a new couple to the Senior scene, there was plenty of activities and immunities offered to us from the Inn.
From the moment you book your reservation to well after you have returned home, Sunburst Inn communicates better than ANY other hospitality company out there. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Text messages, emails, and phone calls. They are fantastic at communicating! The location is perfect. Walk right out to salty air paradise with soft sand under your feet. Excellent restaurants are nearby with some even a short walk away. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and it is THE MOST ADORABLE place of the entire Inn, in my opinion. I can't wait to come back as a repeat customer. This is truly a great place to stay. The only constructive critique I could possibly think of....because no one believes in a perfect world..... is.... cabinetry trim was not finished and the living room rug needs to be cleaned. But that is as picky as I could think of because it was dang near flawless of an experience.
This was our first time staying at the Sunburst Inn and it will not be our last. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach. There is a wonderful coffee shop, about a 2 minute walk away, and several great restaurants close by. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend staying at the Sunburst Inn. Thank you for an amazing stay.
We just got back from a 2 night stay in room 9, and I can't say enough good things about the Sunburst Inn. Our room was cool! Very neat retro decor, very clean, and roomy. We had a beautiful view of the Gulf and the beach is literally 10 steps down the deck. Plenty of provided amenities like chairs and paddle boards. Communication was awesome and check in and out was a breeze. The area is a pretty cool beach town with neat shops very close. I can't say enough good things about our stay and my wife and I are already looking at our calendar of when we can come back!
My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway from Orlando. This place was perfect for us and is so cute! They have chairs and umbrellas for guests to use and great community seating facing the beach. Though the staff isn’t there 24/7 they are incredibly responsive through text and can help with whatever you need. Great restaurants are located close by including JD’s, Salt Rock Grill and Indian Rocks Coffee House. Highly recommend staying here, we’re looking forward to coming again with friends and staying in the penthouse!
We were curious about this inn after watching the HGTV makeover. We needed a quick road trip and booked it. We couldn't have been happier. Great communication, clean retro fun room, literally on the beach. Staff was incredibly friendly and beach equipment is right there to use. Good restaurants close. We will do this again.

Nice place, very spacious, plenty of seating/furniture. Only drawback view from room was across Gulf Blvd & shuffleboard courts to slice of intracoastal. Other rooms available facing beach & poolside. Definitely request next visit. Overall Great Expe
Wow, that was awesome. Sweet potato fries were perfect. The hot lobster rolls was awesome. It's comical to read reviews on how the fresh lobster was expensive. It's because it's shipped fresh from Maine. This will be my monthly stop for sure.
They had their food truck at an event in St Petersburg. I got the plate with all the meats. Each was individually flavored differently, prepared in it's own way. I really enjoyed it.
Didn't have any food, but drinks were good, strong, and reasonably priced.
