What a great little place. Peaceful, restful and a pure relaxing time. This is a small family run motel, rooms are small but very clean and up date with off street parking (no charge.) If you are looking for a restful, inexpensive, quite, get a away this is the place. The local SLO shuttle bus stops close by to take you to downtown or its a 20 min walk. Great for couples or business traveler.

I've stayed in about 5 different budget motels in SLO and this one was my favorite. Nice convenient downtown area. Rooms were very clean and had good quality comfortable mattresses and pillows. Manager is friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for a clean budget hotel, then this is your place. You can't beat the price for how clean the room was. It's definitely no frills, but I would stay there again for the price and location.

We had another great stay at the Sunbeam Motel. Jerry is wonderful to deal with. The room is comfortable, roomy enough, we love the convenience of fridge and microwave in the room. Still a good value for SLO, and very walkable to the the downtown area. We will be back again!

This is a nice little motel operated by a local guy. The room was very nice. I appreciated the wood laminate floor instead of the typical old carpeting, and the small microwave and refrigerator were also nice features. The bed was fresh and very comfortable. Our host was also helpful in suggesting some great options for dinner places in town. There is some construction going on as they rebuild the office, but there was no noise at all, plenty of parking, and no inconvenience. I recommend this place to anyone staying in the SLO area.

Motel is managed really well, everything in good working order and clean. Room is comfortable and quiet. The price point is fantastic. We would happily return to this motel. The motel office closes at night so we were given instructions to retrieve room key from lockbox. Office is being renovated so I think amenities will be even better then.
