When I stayed way back in 2017 I had my belongings stolen from this place. I would not trust the area.

Okay the reason I'm doing this place safe for Star reading is because in my room I had more than enough bars of soap of which were big bars that I could have even used in the shower as well as extra toilet paper and all of the towels washcloths and hand towels seem to be very clean. I had no problem with any nasty creepy crawly bugs so that was a hundred percent Plus for me. The reason why I do not give it a 5-star however it's because I lost tracking time and I cold on the phone as well as had a knock on the door for me to leave and the maid of who is naughty maid but the owner's wife stood by the door as I continue to gather my things it kind of sucked but in all honesty it didn't take me that long to leave but having someone stand and watch you made it a little uneasy and just I don't know it felt like a violation of my privacy. They just so long as no one is sitting you watch you gather your things and affordable definitely and having eatery places right near you this Place is great!

Been visiting the Imperial valley over 10 years for both business and vacation. Was always staying in one of the oldest best known local hotel until I discovers this jewel in the area. Very clean/ 21st century decor on the outside -the buldings--all sizes of rooms/amenities. Modern but also reasonale rates--very quite. Accessible to all local restaurants/shopping places. One feels safe not like seedy motels around the area. The best part great are the owners/operators who are always around for any problems or just a chat for a cup of coffee. This is the first time I feel obligated to write a review for anything leave alone a hotel. Check it out next time you are in the area--I travel a lot around the country. I know what you need after a long day after a trip or work on the road.

Whomever wrote the previous review saying this was the best hotel in the area was clearly paid for writing that.||||We ended up here last night after having car trouble en route to Phoenix. It was late, we were tired, and after talking to two other hotels which were sold out, we took the room that was available here. This hotel was older, which is not a problem, but it was not clean. The smoke detector beeped all night, and the refrigerator made a loud-pitched squealing noise. Furthermore, we were told that breakfast was included, but "breakfast" consisted of one type of cereal & the man behind the counter telling us that the jug of orange juice was in the fridge.||||If you don't have to stay here, don't.

Me and a friend have been travelling through the states for 3 weeks and stayed at a lot of different motels. This one was definitely the worst for the price! First of all, the service was poor as the front desk clerk said about 3 words as we checked in wich were: Name and car information. Then she just pointed out our room unfriendly. The cleanliness of the room was average but the room was a little bad for the price we paid( about 65$) After, as we go to sleep we put the cool fan on, an hour later we wake up because it was strugglling and making a lot of noise! It went on and off like that all night long. Finnally, we wake up in the morning and go to the breakfast room because it was included, there were only one kind of cereals orange juice, milk and coffee. Not recommended!

We usually stop in El Centro on our way to San Diego for a place to sleep. So we aren't looking for luxury or anything fancy. That being said I will never stay at this motel again. The price was way to high for one thing. The rooms were extremely dirty and smelled of old stale cigarette smoke. The service consisted only of telling me what room number I was in. Don't plan on eating breakfast here either. Breakfast consisted of Sunny D, Corn Flakes, and milk. The location wasn't the best either. It was easy to find but we are used to staying right off the freeway and this was a little ways from it. ||||

The lady at the reception when I payed didn't tell me my total I got no receipt back and was just told I had to evacuate the room by 11am the next day. In the morning when I went back to the reception area I asked for a receipt which I wasn't given one !!! Then I asked how come I was over charged because I had called earlier to ask for a price and it was totally different. The morning receptionist said cause of a deposit!!! She asked to give her a minute that in order for me to get the deposit back she would have to go check how I left the condition of the room. When she came back she handed me over the deposit $ and asked Y I hadn't used the ash tray for the cigarettes. That took me by surprise because of the fact that my bf had accidentally dropped it well trying to turn on the lights by the nightstand!! Over all I would never stay here again plus the rooms are not like in the hotel pop page, the service isn't friendly, the room phone didn't work, the TV only had a couple channels, the bed was super small and the Ac took forever to cool down the room and not to mention it keep turning off every 8 minutes then on again all night in this case the room was super hot through out the night!!!! This not what I appected!!!!!!

The room was reserved I arrived late and the door could not be opened, I was sent back to the room 5 times before the owner tried the door and could not open it. I was given another room until the morning when her husband could open the door. I was told I would be charged for the regular room. I had reserved a Jacuzzi suite. The next day I was given the suite and it did not have a fridge or microwave as advertised. They brought one in but it would not plug into the wall..||To top it all off the air conditioner kept tripping the breaker. after trying to repair it three times I had had enough and told them I did not want to stay.||When I checked out I was charged 69.99 instead of the 39.99 that is posted on the front of the building.||When I asked why she said it was a bigger room, I was only in the room 4 hours and did not use the shower etc..||All in All this was a terrible experience and I would not tell anyone to stay there

I love Costco! So many options to choose from it can be hard to just get in and out but if you go on the weekends or in the evenings you're in for a wait in line to check out.
