The most terrifying experience for mother and I. This place is horrible! It is nothing like the pictures online. Dirty stained gross carpet, terrible bedding and mattresses, rust around the handsoap and shampoo bottles. Not to mention the horrific experience with death threats from a belligerent male guest in the cabin spitting distance next to us! We had to hide in this cabin with a door lock that didn't work, no management on site. The phone numbers for the office posted on the paper attached to the inside of our cabin, not valid...all happening within 30inutes of pur checkin. This event ended with this man almost hitting one police officer but actually hitting another officer, flipping his car over right at the sign to the entrance of this place!! Also note the sign to this dump also calls it a resort.. trust it is the farthest from a resort you can get!!! We left this facility in severe trauma. We booked thru booking.com, which in turn directed us to evolve...a rental management company, to request a full refund for this severe life threatening experience and were offered a 20 percent discount from the $480 we spent for an enjoyable vacation stay! Rest assure...evolves company moto is to make sure your stay matches what's online and your safety. What a joke!!!! Even the security cameras at this place, you guessed it....don't work!!! This place needs to be shutdown!!! Do not waste your money or time booking this place, you will deeply regret it!!
This place has gone down hill so bad since these new owners took over. Got rid of the cedar hot tub. Jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. Pool was so green. This place should be shut down. Horrible and embarrassing for the old owners. These guys are in any know how to run a Place like this. I want a full refund.
My husband and I rented cabin #9 for a week. Pictures online are very misleading making the cabin look bigger than it actually is. We lucked out with the water not working in a few of the cabins, so, Mario, the manager put us in cabin #5, which is one of the bigger cabins.
The cabin was not as clean as I expected it to be, but it was fairly comfortable. Wifi was not the best. We had no screens in the bedroom window, so we asked Mario for screens and he was accommodating.
We did not expect for the cabin to be so close to the main road. It was a bit loud, specially when the motorcycles go by. The saloon across the street was very nice, but a bit too close than we liked. I could not imagine being there bike week!
We were not offered a change of linens, or anything else. We bought all of our own things needed. Trash cans outside were overfull and not emptied so animals made messes. Dirty diapers etc all over. Overall, I don't think we would book again. Not for the price. Even off season prices were crazy high.
Our cabin #1, was small but enough room for two. Road noise was irritating but it did not ruin the stay. The cabin did have everything we needed. The kitchenette was small and the bathroom is large.
Stayed here over the weekend, while my cottage was cleaned the property itself was very dirty and run down. There were also signs of mice and bug problems. Who I’m assuming is the property manager was rude and couldn’t be bothered. I would not go back or would I recommend this place.
Really awesome property! We were a group of 10 girls. Great spaces with amenities. Super clean, friendly and attentive staff who constantly messaged and check in. Sofia & Derek were great to work with even before checking in. They accommodated an early check in for us. All around thrilled with this property and would highly recommend.
The only thing I didn’t love about the property is the mattresses aren’t super comfortable. Small minor detail. Didn’t ruin our weekend or anything. I would maybe recommend getting toppers or foam to top them with.
We stayed in cabin 15, very quint little cabin. Everything was clean and tidy. Definitely can tell that it is an older building, lots of character, which we loved. Everything except food is supplied. Only had one interaction with staff who was friendly and pleasant. Check in consisted of following the directions in the email. A keypad code was sent and a request to let them know when we did check in by replying to the email. While sitting on the porch had a nice little visit from one of the resident squirrels. Cute little bugger! The only drawbacks we found were WAY beyond their control. There is a bar across the road with an open venue that does live bands/karaoke. It is great when they have people who can sing, we didn't get that Friday night. The other drawback is the motorcycles who have to prove who has the loudest bike when they take off from the light. We would definitely stay here again though.
Beware the $100 “cleaning fee” when using booking.com. That, along with other fees, doubled their advertised nightly rate. Had no hot water and wall heater would only bring cottage to about 50 degrees. They have no website or method of interaction besides a phone number for “short term rentals LLC”…and no one staffing their office as far as I could tell. I won’t stay there again.
Had a great week here on the lake! Great host. Patrick helped us out when we were in a tight spot. Thank you again Patrick! Such a relaxing place to hang out on the beach to swim an watch all the boats go by. Amazing views from every room!! Our kids
A super a nice cafe, with all youâd want from one - great coffee, delicious homemade pastries, good food, and plenty of space to sit and work. Would absolutely come back!
Been visiting Defiant for the beer and record selection for about 1 year. What I found is genuine friendly staff and patrons. All of us enjoying a pint and some social interaction. Record selection is reasonably priced and good quality.

If I could vote more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this store and this team is AMAZING. There is not a day that goes by, (especially in the winter) that I don't have a Chaos and Kindness Top on. What they stand for and what they do for peopl
I love it here! So many options to make crafts, even if you arenât âcraftyâ (and trust me, Iâm not). Use the pottery wheel, blow glass, paint a canvas- all on your own OR in an organized group setting. This is my favorite way because you get
