This hotel is a jewel of the sea! As the photos show, it is positioned directly on the beach. It is a small boutique hotel nestled between huge tower buildings which made it feel quaint and cozy. All of the rooms face the ocean so you are guaranteed an ocean view. The beach is not roped off or private but remained relatively empty and only occupied by hotel guests which added to an already amazing experience. The friendly front desk staffer that checked us in was amazing and very welcoming. I think her name was Hollie or Hallie based on the business cards at the front desk but she gave us a whole talk about where we could find local amenities and how the hotel, beach, pool, and restaurant operated. The beds were very comfy and pillows were some of the best I've used in a hotel setting. We had to make some make-do curtains for the bathroom window that was quite bright in the morning but a morning person wouldn't mind it at all. In the south Florida heat and humidity, the air conditioner struggled to keep up but keeping the balcony curtains closed helped a lot. The restaurant was one of the best in-hotel restaurants I've ever dined at. Although the prices were on the higher side, it was still affordable and the food was well worth it. Housekeeping is by request only so let the front desk know if you ever need a room refresh! I do not envy their job because sand gets everywhere. In fact, the bathtub/shower drained a little slow which I expect is a result of all the sand the guests track in. Also, no need to pack a beach towel as they supply towels which you can use at their beach or at any beach you decide to visit, as long as you bring it back! The photos on the hotel's website are 100% real so it meets with expectations splendidly. I also included a photo of our hotel from the plane as we left to emphasize how cozily it is nestled on the beach and how you can have a small boutique hotel feel, in a 5 star resort location. Also, take advantage of the Seabobbing tour that is hosted at the hotel right next door! It is worth it! Thanks Sun Tower for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

We stayed in March 2023. This hotel treats you like family. They are willing to do whatever makes your stay perfect. Our room was lovely and overlooked the ocean. Note that the balcony is quite small but we were not bothered by this. Lyrica was great from the moment I called to reserve a room and was just as great when we met her. Housekeeping kept the place neat and tidy. The restaurant had amazing food from breakfast to late night. Great little hideaway that gave us a wonderful and much needed get a way. Thank you.

Beautiful location on the beach, rooms were nice and clean. The pool is a bit on the small side but was very nice to have access to if you aren’t feeling like getting salty in the ocean. The restaurant bar is definitely a “$$$” type place. Food was good but portions are on the smaller side and it’s definitely not cheap. Drinks were well made and very tasty, but again not cheap. Catch an Uber about 5-10 minutes inland and you’ll find comparable food/drink for about half the price. Very happy with our stay here and would return.

What a nice small hotel (23 rooms) directly ON THE BEACH in Fort Lauderdale. We had a five night stay and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. There were a few bumps in the road, but overall I was quite pleased.

The Sun Tower and its wonderful Restaurant, The Sand Bar are the quintessential Fort Lauderdale local spots, the very last of the them.|To be on the Beach with an unobstructed view of the Ocean is my favorite way to relax and enjoy great food, great service, and genuinely friendly greetings. Jackie has taken care of me and my group of friends for years…her hospitality and seamless service have always made us feel welcome and appreciated.|I recommend The Sand Bar to all my neighbors and visitors, it’s a “must do”spot to enjoy what Fort Lauderdale is really all about.|Thank you Jackie and the Sun Tower team, job well done!

Our family of three (2 adults and a teen) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sun Tower Hotel. The hotel is a small boutique hotel located on a much quieter strip of the beach from the spring breakers. ||The King room was spacious and well laid out. Outside the bedroom had a large sitting area with a pullout couch and kitchenette (full size fridge). We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our third floor suite. The pool area was clean and quiet, and the staff really go out of their way to take care of you. All the staff were great, but Dylan went above and beyond. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. His professionalism and customer service skills were truly outstanding. There is also a staff member on the beach that will get you a lounger and umbrella (free of charge), and the restaurant on site was also great. ||Parking is now $15 a day and I would recommend having a car. Although parking can get busy, the staff always made sure that we would have a spot upon our return to the hotel. The hotel also has a $35 a day resort fee. My only complaint was that the WiFi was slow in the room which bothered my son. It forced him to spend more time outside by the pool where there was a stronger signal. TEENS!||We are already planning our next trip there. Overall it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend Sun Tower Hotel and Suites.

I was and I am at the Sunbar restaurant at least 3 times a week , and I have been going there for over 7 years, it is perfect to enjoy the Florida Ocean view being right on the beach , the food is excellent and always on point, all the waitress and waiter are courteous . Kim , red hair bubbling Character is always a 5 star service, she is always have my drink refill , food on time and always with a smile and fun to be around , Great Place to go for any locals or out of town guest !!! Highly recommended MB

Fantastic boutique hotel! Absolutely the most amazing staff. How they curated the coolest, friendly and helpful staff in this day & age I have no idea…but kudos!! We loved it and would absolutely stay here again. Ditch the chain hotels and come hang out beachfront!
