Motel, have not slept here yet the same owner as the Dos Palos one previously. Good People.
This was our second stay here (the first was in 2017). We had a family urgency that required several days in town, and I wanted to stay here again. ||||The rooms are very, very clean, and the microwave and refrigerator were in good condition. We brought our own travel coffee-maker, so we did not use theirs. The tub was very clean, and I enjoyed my soaks in hot baths. Their towels are a low point but we picked up a bath sheet a Walmart down the road. ||||It is on a main artery through town, and very close to shopping and restaurants. ||||The couple who operates this establishment are ultra-nice people, and I remembered that from the first time we stayed there. ||||This place lodges migrant workers but that didn't bother us. The people above us were sometimes noisy late at night but were often too exhausted to really care. ||||If you want basic and clean, give this place a try.
Stayed for one night recently. Lovely people run this place - friendly and very accommodating. Not at all bothered by our having a trailer to park. Room was impeccably clean. They are in process of renovating the rooms with new mattresses, and I think ours was already done because we sure slept well. Had all the expected amenities: Microwave, refridge, hair-dryer, ironing board, and coffeemaker. Only thing I was disappointed in was no "plug" in the tub. Big, cozy, very clean tub made me want to soak in a hot one, but .... couldn't. The towels were in real sad shape, too, but I'm sure they'll replace them soon. I have family in that area and will definitely lodge here in the future.
We get very excellent service. The young manager is very helpful and treat us very well. We arrived at 2:00am and he accommodate in very friendly manner. The room is very nice and clean. The linen on the bed is very neat and clean. We loved the tiles in the room and granite bath tub and counter. We will be definitely stay here again.
Front desk lady was very nice but the room needed lots of work. The smoke alarm was missing , the ironing board was missing, there were stains on the bedding and bugs on the bathroom ceiling. The price was 60$ per night and I feel it was only worth 25$. The cable was nice and there was a microwave and refrigerator. The cooler worked fine and there was decent water pressure. The alarm clock was also missing. And no fitted sheets. I didn't feel comfortable to sleep under the blankets which calls for a rough night. Nothing like what the website claims defiantly should have stayed elsewhere.
They remodeled their rooms so there's no dirty carpet to worry about. I really liked the new textured flooring that is both comfortable and clean to walk barefoot on. The bathroom area is tiled and spotless. The sink area was spacious so you could lay out all your toiletries and the soft lighting above was perfect because I don't like harsh lighting especially for doing my makeup...the owner told me they actually use energy-saving lights! They also have a minifridge and microwave, which is practically unheard of these days so MAJOR PROPS!||||Amenities: comfy beds, free working WIFI, plenty of channels on their new TVs, clean towels/sheets/floors, alarm clock& radio provided, A/C units to combat that desert heat, plenty of outlets, minifridge and microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and coffee/tea maker are all included!||||Management is very friendly and courteous and I definitely enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend you call them at their direct business number to get the best rates!
We were looking to stay 1 night somewhere because we were all tired from driving and we had a couple hours left. We found this one on line and they had room. So stopped and stayed. There were 5 in our group the room had two double beds. 2 kids and 1 adult in one bed and 1 adult and 1 child in the other. It was a little tight but it worked for the night.
Booked ahead on booking.com and got for $65 - up to $80 on day of and $108 on other sites. Desk clerk was very lovely and accommodating. 1st room had noisy A/C. Next was quiet but: no hand towels, only 1 washcloth, knob missing from floor lamp (had to use wall plug), sink lever could not be moved to adjust temp, oval toilet bowl had an undersized round seat on it. Desk clerk gave me a hand towel that was thread bare and literally in shreds. All of white towels were gray/dirty looking. No tissues in room. Smallest bars of soap I have ever seen - literally unusable. On the positive side: bedspread and curtain looked new, clean tile instead of carpet, good tv, pretty comfortable bed. Seems like a place for mostly migrant workers - plan to be awakened by 4:30 as they warm up (3) buses.
Simply the best coffee around. Not sure why people still go spend money at Starbucks when you can have real and delicious coffee with insane portions.. the Large blended drink is as big as my arm and their specialty drinks are amazing! I recommend th
We visited this place on our way from Yosemite. It's a small family road-by cafe. The food was delicious and very fresh. We tried shrimp tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole. The staff is also excellent! Old style interior, but very clean!
Came here for breakfast. First time trying this restaurant out. Very hospitable and courteous. Fast service and the taste of the food is great! The menu has alot of options which is great. They have American food and Mexican food. The salsas are on
