Before new owners this place was amazing. New staff as well. Since new owner, new rules. Menu for instance, said my breakfast came with toast. Waitress said it didn't and I showed her. but she said she couldn't do anything about it. I said well I want toast anyways. Then one time I was in for dinner. I wanted cottage cheese instead of a salad. She said she couldn't replace it. I said regardless I want cottage cheese. Several times we crossed this same bridge. Tonight was last straw. My husband and I were in for dinner. Food is always good seriously. Tonight on a Saturday night they are closing at 8p. Never remember that early closing before. We are eating and they are sweeping and mopping with Pine-Sol it was so strong to smell while eating. The girls are wanting to get out. At 7:30 our waitress was trying to decide if they have time to make wings for my husband since they close @ 8pm. I've worked in restaurants before, if a customer came in five minutes before time to close you got to order regardless of what it was!! This place was one of our favorite places to eat. We would drive a county over to eat here. Now it's not a place we will probably ever come back to! Last owners had this place enjoyable to frequent. We miss the place it use to be. By the way, when you checked out at register and when they ask, " Was everything alright"? You tell them anything they would say, I'm sorry... Don't waste your time because they really don't care!

Ordered stir fry; main dish not edible, they notice I don’t eat it so they volunteer to remove from bill but they explain they have to increase everything else to do so. Would of been better if they said and did nothing. I wasn’t asking for anything. Still charged $18. Disgusting and petty.

I will start by saying this was the worst food I have ever experienced...ever. The broccoli soup tasted horrid and had a consistency of wallpaper paste, the spoon wouldn't ever fall over when stood up in the bowl. Best of all was the turkey Manhattan, it had the most foul taste, worst than the soup, somehow. And to top it all, the girl refused to do anything about it when I went to the register. A one star rating is two stars to many.

Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Came here for breakfast on a weekday morning-- delicious home-cooked food. Can't recommend the skillets enough. Place has been here for a long time, and will probably stay for another 50 at least if they keep up this quality. Convenient location in the center of Brazil makes it easy to stop by for a bite, and the prices will keep you coming back again and again. I got the eponymous Sunrise Skillet, and my fiance got the Fajita Skillet (and adding his own blend of hot sauce and ketchup).

Horrible experience! I ordered a breaded tenderloin with everything on it, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion. The onion was purple, but it was brown on one side. The tomato was all green rind. I also also ordered onion rings, and they were greasy and not fully cooked, the onions still had a little crunch on it. when I spoke to the waitress about the vegetables for the tenderloin, she said that she was a vegan and didn’t eat meat, UGH!! I asked her if she would eat that tomato, and she just looked at it. Halfway through my tenderloin I found a hair. at checkout she was so rude. I did not want to pay for my meal and she asked if I would go back to the table, get the plate and bring it back up to her so she could see the hair, no, I will not and no, I will never be back! Please tell your father, as you reminded us several times that your daddy owned the restaurant. You’re personal customer service sucks little girl, tell your daddy that.

This is such a cute, cozy place to get get your favorite comfort meals. The food was so good and the staff was amazing!!! We will be back!!!!

I am from NYC and finding a good diner is always difficult, especially when traveling. This was lovely, the staff was nice, and the food was just what we wanted. Only negative was Fox News on the TV. But we are in Indiana so it is to be expected.

Omg this restaurant is absolutely filthy from the dinning area on to the bathroom. You might as well eat in the bathroom b/c that’s the vibe I got. Whoever is the cook should be fired my walleye was bogus and had a funny color to it and was luke warm. They attempted to make a beer batter but failed miserably at it. They didn’t idk deep fry it long enough bc the bottom of the filet was soggy. The shrimp that comes with the meal was over deep fried and tasted like crunchy rubber. I’d say at least my baked potato was good but I’d be lying. It was overloaded with margarine?! Ugh they were to cheap to actually use real butter, shocking. Anyways my daughter’s food was terrible and my wife was like at least the jello was good. The server was friendly enough but consider yourself warned this is hot garbage on a plate. The peaches were nasty and discolored too.
