I have been here for a few years and feel like I have experienced enough to give a helpful review. My wife and I are new to this style of camping and were surprised by how friendly and helpful the other residents are. Multiple times, someone has seen me struggling with something on my site and stopped to offer advice or a helping hand. Any time I have a question for management or need assistance, Pattie has been patient and wonderful to work with, even taking the time to help me with a minor emergency on her day off. Laurie has been a pleasure as I navigate my first season with a boat. Doug and Ched on the security staff have been a blast to get to know and do a great job preventing any trouble year-round. The maintenance/grounds team has exceeded all of my expectations and the park always looks excellent. Overall, I couldn't be more impressed with my time here and truly appreciate the hard work of everyone on staff who make this the perfect place to relax and enjoy my time off.

After spending time with my family here for 20 years, we finally decided to buy a camper in the seasonal section of Leisure Point/Sun Retreats Rehoboth Bay. We love it so much that we had the camper for less than a year and bought a house in the permanent section. Pattie and her staff have been absolutely fantastic throughout the time we’ve been here. They are always friendly and very responsive. The park is always beautiful and well-maintained. Leisure Point is absolutely perfect for us!

We’ve stayed at this gated community campground the past two years since Sun Outdoors purchased the RV park … all new swimming pool & gym facility are great examples on the “like new” condition all amenities are maintained including their boat marina.

Great place to live either year round or seasonal. Seasonal is April 15th to Oct. 31st. Beautiful gated resort with pool, basketball court, pickelball court, children's playground, exercise room, Marina with gas, lots of boat slips, Beautiful gated community.

Campground was very nice and clean. Beautiful pool and pleasant staff. Rental was nice and very clean, but a lot smaller than we expected. Mostly the bedroom space was tiny. We had 4 adults and 2 small children. Weather was beautiful. Not too hot, but during the day the AC could not keep up. We had all the doors, windows and curtains closed and it didn't seem to help. Overall we would stay here again, but maybe a newer unit, bigger or just 1 family per unit.

Stayed about a week in a transient camp site several years ago. It was a short vacation but we really enjoyed time there. Staffs were very nice and sites are well managed and clean. The boat slip we rented worked out nice too. I wish they still offer transient sites or monthly lease.

I found this year to be disappointing. The owners and management don't even seem to speak to the tenants. I walked in the office and some woman came from a back office and rudely asked if there was something she could help with..Hello..why else would I be there. Sorry to bother her!! I won't go in there again. There is a marina store but you can never find it open. No set hours. If you need gas for boat, you better get it whenever it might be open. Should you go into the store, you will find a kid who is about 12 running the counter. She takes orders, runs the cash register and takes forever. Unbelievable...Always a line and have to wait because the kid can't take orders quickly and good luck if your order is right. As you patiently wait in the line with a bag of ice, it will b melting. I suggest you pay for ice then get it. Also while waiting, you can hear the person who runs the store arguing and yelling at people in the kitchen.. Quite entertaining but not very appealing. Appears the park has big turnover in management. Last year there was a manager who worked constantly. She was always visible and the place was well managed. You now have to deal with kids running wild all hours of the night, firecrackers going off, drunks on golf carts speeding all night throughout the park. There is a 14 mph speed limit, but you can witness the owners in cars and on golf cart flying around the park. If you are following other cars or carts, you can expect to see the owner pass you. Thank goodness no child has been hit while on their bikes and skate boards, which they ride on all the main roads. ||Overall, because of the tenants in the park being so nice, this is a good place to visit. Definitely not because the management makes you feel appreciated for paying to stay here. Once you pay to stay, you won't be acknowledged by them, so don't waste any time speaking to them. Just appears that the operations of this resort isn't like it used to be. It's not totally a gated resort, because the gate is only manned from 430 pm to 6 am. So if guard is at the gate, there is no security roaming the park.

6 years ago this resort was a wonderful, happy place to relax and make memories. Now The management harrasses you constantly over the silliest things. If you enjoy being dictated like you're in a concentration camp then this is the place for you.... Liesure Point Resort use to be a very nice place but since Patty has taken over office management it has been intolerable. The office Management is rude to our family and guests, Unprofessional during conversation and the office management enforces new rules that best suit them at the time. I would NOT recommend this place to any family or friends of ours. I'm sad to say that my family and I no longer enjoy ourselves at this resort like we use to, which is a shame because we have made so many family memories here. Be aware there is no overflow parking and your camping lots are small. This is very inconvenient if you have a big family and/or if you enjoy boating/watersports of any kind.
