Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, updated and very family oriented. Beautiful view of Lake George from inside and out. Large 2 br 2 bth updated but rustic cabin with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The grounds are prestine workers are constantly cleaning and maintaining the property. If you need anything additional I.e towels, toilet paper, paper towels you just ask and they bring it right to your door. There is no daily house keeping, they give you your privacy and space to enjoy your days with your family. If you need something, you just have to ask, which I actually prefer. Kayaks are free, fishing on the dock with the kids was fun. Kids loved the pool and the slide. Beach was clean and water was warm. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next year for our yearly trip to the lake. We loved the updates, but we also loved the rustic feel.

The staff is wonderful. The view of lake George is breath taking. We loved the townhouse accommodations accept for the neighboring decks due to them being permitted to smoke. We would love to return but would prefer a cabin so we would not have to stay inside due to the 4 smokers next door. Many years ago our niece was married here. This is still an amazing place to stay.

I can only speak to the experience in the cabin accommodations at this resort. Good points....the view was spectacular. But....there were so many things that were inadequate. Maybe they focus on guests who are staying in the Inn and the townhouses. The cabins seem very much neglected. There is no housekeeping, and we actually got a bit of attitude when asking for more towels--during our one week stay! Ridiculous! There are no laundry accommodations on site. We didn't get even an extra roll of toilet paper in the cabin. This stay should have been excellent, but it was not. I cannot recommend.

While the view of the lake was beautiful the townhome was disappointing. I requested a two bedroom townhome for individuals with mobility issues and was advised that the assigned townhome would fulfill these needs however, there were no bars or rails for assistance in the shower or by the toilet creating significant safety concerns. Windows could not be closed once opened, window screens were ripped allowing mosquitoes to enter, blinds were broken and worn kitchen cabinets hung askew. The villa was clean but all seating (kitchen chairs, arm chairs and couch) were worn and stained. The resort failed to advise upon check-in that townhome doors must be locked manually as this was discovered after a guest from a neighboring townhome entered mine in error. The stay rate for this townhome is difficult to justify based on its wear and tear but the view of the lake helps to ease the disappointment.

Let me first say this, if you are looking at the tiny nick in the hand carved 18 century dresser and that bothers you, this is not the place for you. If you look at the 2 inch thick oak doors and are amazed at the craftmanship, this is the place for you. The original stained glass, the carved staircase, the leaded glass, they are all original and remarkable. This is a beautiful and lovely old mansion with the best staff and amazing food. I can’t say enough about it from the view of the lake to the personal service and yet they make it feel like home. |But again, if you are bothered by the tiny beach rather than it being raked by hand every day or the small amount of goose dropping rather than the staff who cleans the entire property every day, please go somewhere else. This is a magnificent old home with a rich history that they have somehow managed to maintain. The service is friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Laurie was like an old friend the moment we met her and I wanted to hug her goodbye after just two days. |Breakfast is included but it is not what you think. This is not some, make your own waffles and powdered eggs. This is thick cut bacon from a local farm and fresh eggs from another, fruit, potatoes, muffins and fresh bread. This is the best included breakfast I have ever had, bar none and I dare you to finish all they give you. On the second day, we got ½ portions and still couldn’t finish it! |How can a place so beautiful feel like home from the moment you enter your room? If I could give them more stars I would and this will be a regular trip for us based entirely on this lovely hotel and its wonderful staff. They include unlimited bottled water and two bottles of prosecco every day as well as coffee and tea service. |We didn’t stay in the cottages or the townhouses so I can’t comment on them but the people we spoke to seem to love them and return year after year sometimes for generations.

Love this place have been coming up since 2010 and am just in love. The villas have been nicely updated and such an enjoyable place. ||Only thing is it's a bit hilly so if you have senior family members it can be challenging for them.||My only dissatisfaction was the pillows. |Overall I still rate it a 5

It’s was awesome experience and I was |Surprised when they give It’s a three star resort to me. It’s five star resort , fast service .very nice view from your town house . I really really recommended everyone over there and the price is very very very reasonable for what they provide. Thank you so much Erlowest team do make my stay awsome

We paid in excess of $600 and $700/ per night respectively for three nights in two cabins. The accommodations are far too inadequate to warrant the price. Our cabin had one small sofa and a small high table with stools for the living area. Bedroom was small with no luggage racks to hold suitcases or usable furniture. Bathroom had no real towel racks. Our cabin was on the water and next to the wedding ceremony site with crowds of wedding guests surrounding our unit each afternoon of our stay in addition to repair work and power tools happening on the unit during our stay. Air conditioning for the bedroom area consisted of a cheap floor unit with exposed exhaust hose fitted to a high boarded up window.. Quite a disappointment.
