Sun & Ski Inn and Suites - Hotel in Stowe - 1613 Mountain Rd, USA

Room was clean minus a hair in the shower. The fan was unfortunately broken in the bathroom, and it was overall a little dated. We found it a bit odd and unhygienic that the coffee maker was in the bathroom too. Beds were pretty squishy, but we had no issues sleeping, and the linens were very clean. Walls were thin and I could hear everything going on next door, but I travel with a white noise machine and that was more than enough to drown out any disturbances. Hot tub was a bit dirty - lots of mystery hair and bits that looked like skin floating around in it. We had no issues with the employees. Pretty much everyone was kind and welcoming. The bowling is a touch pricey, but lots of fun. We also enjoyed a round of mini golf. Nearby tons of fantastic restaurants, and the property has a very clear sign making it easy to spot.

1. Nice place. A little pricey for the price, but Stowe cost about 30% more than Texas cost, so cost was consistent with other places. 2. TV was hard to navigate 3. Cleaning lady did not come till 4 or 5, when we were already in the room, making cleaning difficult. 4. Overall, we were very pleased. Great staff, nice rooms.

The resort is fine. It is well appointed, good for families, and well located...but, and I hate to write this review, but their business practices are shady. I stayed one night, and it was fine. The food was good, the room was good, it was fine. The front desk person did not seem to care that we were there and gave us our two rooms with little interaction. That was fine; we all have bad days. However, the next day, I got several phone calls about owing a resort fee of 15 dollars. I was annoyed but responded and paid once I got into cell service. Fast forward to this week when I get MORE text messages about owing another 15 resort fee. No explanation, just a text message asking for MORE money. Seriously? If someone screwed up on their end, they should eat the 15$ fee and not harass people over a month after the stay. The kicker? When I said that to them in a text message, they told me they would not contact me again and..CHARGED MY CARD that was on file. I WOULD NOT STAY WITH A PLACE THAT DOES THINGS LIKE THIS AFTER A STAY. Practices like this kill potentially successful businesses.

A below average room for a far above average price. Paid through the roof despite booking many months in advance. Arrived to find a very dated room with minimal modernization. The bed was a giant sink hole, so we couldn’t sleep let alone walk the next day. I expected a lot better. Paid the most for the room out of our stops across New England and it was by far the worst!

It’s scrupulously clean. It’s the nicest dog-friendly hotel I’ve ever been in, actually. The surroundings are gorgeous too. Unfortunately my anxious dog stopped defecating, so we had to check out early. They have a bowling alley and mini-golf area close by. The electricity in our room went out (our fault) and they had someone come out immediately.||I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a clean, dog friendly, conveniently located hotel. I’ve done an AirBnBs in the area and have sworn them off forever.

Traveling with my older parents in Quebec and was planning to stop here to break up our trip back to Massachusetts. We stayed here a few years ago and loved all the fun amenities the hotel offered. Unfortunately my father came down with severe Covid and we had to cut our Canada trip short and rush home. |We are extremely grateful to the staff for understanding and making an exception to their cancelation policy. Will make sure to recommend the hotel to our friends.

This is basically a Motel with a facelift. Thought the beds were very uncomfortable, room smelled, bathroom small and old feeling. You could hear neighbors clearly and every car and person outside since your front door is right on the parking lot. On top of that, we had to leave a night early because of an emergency at home and I called to tell the manager this and didnt seem to care nor even offer any kind of refund since we didnt stay the last night. Instead we got charged a full 'resort fee' on top of what we had already paid. Very disappointing and would never go back here.

The price we were charged was astronomical (3 times what it should be). The reception staff were cold and were not friendly (both morning and evening shifts). The king size bed was creeking all night and very uncomfortable. “The Continental Breakfast” was merely a snack bar: energy bars, apples, cheese sticks, and limited choice of cereals. Which meant we needed to supplement the “breakfast” with another meal soon. Management are able to get away with their mediocre service due to the great location.
