Very basic! Checking in went well, very nice gal! She got us extra blankets and pillows. Room very basic no where to hang clothes, but price was right for the night. Pillows were horrible so bring your own. Bed comfortable. Microwave and fridge. A/C plenty of parking.

Management and employees : The employees and staff were incredibly kind, and welcoming. Providing extraordinary customer service. The management went above and beyond to meet individual needs . The room accommodations at Sumner Motor Inn: Truly exceeded my expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable with pillows that felt like sleeping on a cloud – it provided the perfect night's rest. The room was equipped with a TV offering premium channels, providing a great variety of shows and entertainment options. The presence of a small dining area was a convenient touch, allowing for in-room dining. The lighting in the room was excellent, offering both daytime brightness and ambient lighting for a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. Additionally, amenities such as a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave, and a dresser for storing clothes added to the convenience and comfort of the stay. Overall, the room accommodations at Sumner Motor Inn were thoughtfully designed and well-equipped, making for a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience. Location: The location is prime with close access to the freeway and the cutest downtown area in Sumner, Washington. It's perfect for a family outing, a girls' night out, or simply enjoying a relaxing stay at the motor inn.

I stayed here when I came over for my grandson's birthday party this past weekend. I would absolutely stay here again just to deal with the employees, particularly Amanda. She is a treasure and went above and beyond for me. She recommended a great Italian restaurant, fetched extra pillows, and her smile lit up the place. The mattress on the bed was the most comfortable I have ever had in a motel and I have stayed in every hotel/motel up and down the Kent Valley, even the "fancy" ones, on my visits to family in Bonney Lake. New management is currently updating the whole place, painting, replacing doors, etc. Right now, the rooms are plain, but very clean. The price is right and the staff is friendly and helpful. I did see some shady people hanging around the parking lot both nights I was there, but they ignored me and mostly sat on the median strip, smoking. It's definitely worth giving the Sumner Motor Inn a chance as they work to improve the building. I'll be back for sure.

We had to book a last minute room for a couple of nights and they were able to accommodate us. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Room rates are very affordable. Quick and easy access to everywhere around that you want to go locally. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

When booking we asked for 2 rooms next to each other and one downstairs due to an elderly guest and told that would be accommodated but it wasn’t. We asked for more towels the second day and all of them were stained with black streaks and had hair that didn’t match any of our guests. There seemed to be a mark on top of the toilet, several on the ceiling of the shower, and some by the mirror that looked like mold. The room phone didn’t work. The top lock for the door was gone. There was a 2in gap between the bottom of the door and the door jam. Overall this place sucks. Do not waste your money.

Did it again. Same courteous staff. Quite and clean room. I got in full as to what I paid for. I recommend for all the tiresome travellers who want some good night rest. You will not regret. There are lots of restaurants in the walking distance and very good restaurant adjacent to the motel.

We really like this place. Location is great, close to downtown and lots of parking. It’s older but very comfortable. Rooms are spotless, well maintained, and cleaned, comfortable beds. Very quiet, which is surprising considering how busy it is. Office lobby has excellent supply of snacks, drinks, breakfast bars, cheese and crackers, etc. not in vending machines, rather displayed on shelves so easy to get. Good WiFi connection too.

It had been quite a while since I had stayed at the Sumner Motor Inn… and it’s definitely better than I remember. The place is very clean and the customer service was both friendly and prompt. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean spot for a good value.
