Summits Wayside Tavern - Bar & grill in Cumming - 525 Lake Center Pkwy, USA

I have never been here and understand it’s been here many many years. Must’ve driven by 100 times. An old friend of mine from high school who I haven’t seen since high school recommended and we met here for lunch. The menu looks really incredible, lots of great things you would not expect to find in a pub, little extra stuff like American Kobe beef burgers. I love the idea of standard menu burgers but the option to dress your own, very extensive add on options, many things you would not think of to put on a burger. I had the American Kobe beef with lettuce tomato onions, American cheese and pickles. Lots of extra pickles, love that. Flavor was great, cooked great and my side salad was really really good, love the homemade croutons. What a great burger place. I understand they also make really great wings didn’t try them but I heard from others. The service was wonderful attentive and on the spot constantly checking in on us. No complaints. The place is big big open area big bar outside seating as well. Lots of open parking huge parking lot. Handicap accessible lots of space to get around really clean nice sports bar tavern. Why not five stars? The seating arrangements ! Two guys hanging out for an afternoon catching up, there’s lots of open seeing after 1:00 PM and they put a family with three kids next to us with a baby who screamed and yelled. @hostess: look around when you’re a hostess and don’t put a 2 month old baby with two other young children - family next to a bunch of old dudes hanging out. We left early because it was getting on our nerves. I have kids so I’ve been there. And yes the father or mother should’ve taken that screaming baby out to be considerate of everyone else. But of course not everybody does that. Always seat families together and adults - no kids - separately. Will I go back? Absolutely! This is a really cool tavern bar. Again, I just had the hamburger today with a side salad but I wanna go back and try those wings. 👍🏽

I’ve been coming here for years, usually for one of the trivia nights (they do both Wednesdays and Fridays), but haven’t written a review. They have a fantastic tap list, with basically any beer you could imagine you’d want, and in my experience even the servers who might otherwise not be expected to know much about the beers on the well seem to have a good set of “go to”s to recommend when something is out - that’s a nice touch that is not very common. I usually get the wings or the chili cheese fries. The fries are pretty good, nothing to write home about but a quality staple. But the wings here have always been great - in a shrinkflation dominated world, they remain relatively cheap and always plump and the tmi sauce is awesome. We also got the Kimchi fries this visit, and that was tasty and delightful in its heat level as well. Definitely recommend!

Awesome place! Clean bright with lots of energy. Huge tap beer selection. Bar food menu with Asian influence. Service was great with food coming out quickly. Wings we well seasoned and very meaty. Had the blue cheese chips. If you love blue cheese you will love this. Dessert was also a star. Beignet sticks with dipping sauce. If you like Taco mac, you will LOVE this place! Worth the trip!

Quite the surprise, we always just drive by until this past week. It was a fun bar atmosphere upon arrival. The menu was vast and several items that are my go to orders so we will be back. Service was acceptable and they tried hard in the short staffed world we are currently in. We tried the cheese curds, not quite the mid-west experience I was hoping for. The buffalo nuggets were interesting. The philly was as expected. Plenty of parking, lots of food choices and the price was a value.

Ordered 20 wings for carry out. Spend $30. Sat down to eat and the wings were burnt. The exposed bones were black. Called mgr and nothing. Beware….

Well, it was a bad day at Summit's. They burnt our burger. Like super burned it and over cooked it. The food was p0op today. In fact this was the second time we have experienced them jacking up our order. Dang guys. Let's do better. Oh and stop watering down your ranch dressing. That's so sad.

A local legacy restaurant that has been in the community for 28 years, Summit’s is still a great sports bar for game day! The huge video screen is almost as vast as their menu. There is something on their menu for everyone and they take pride in making it good! And the beverage menu is even larger! Go Dawgs!

Bar staff was excellent. Potato chips were yummy. Asian salad was missing cabbage in description but was good. There seemed to be a lot of regulars who spoke highly of the place.
