We came in off the train and needed a room for 2 nights, I ended up in the hospital and checked out a day early. The lady charged us double and said we only paid for one night. Unprofessional as they obviously have zero communication between the ones who check people in.
The owners an old Serbian lady with glasses picks and chooses who and rents rooms to and if your African American good luck getting a room
This is an older one of the motels on the strip and it's way overdue to be remodeled and up dated with newer furnishings and new beds and pillows the overall are very pleasant to deal with and the housekeeping staff does a nice job and is efficient and the rates are relatively reasonable for the overall stay
I needed a room close to where I was helping someone move and found Summit Motel. I was concerned about the area and drove by first and turned around in a nice grocery store parking lot. There is also a police station a block away. The person that checked me in was polite and the price, $60, was right for the room and location. The room was old but clean enough. No bugs and it didn't smell!
Good price, quiet. Also, less than a half a block to two bus routes. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Although do wish that they would allow paying for the entire stay at one time. We could only pay for one day at a time.
One of the better hotels along Lincoln and tried them all. The reviews on here baffle me. Yes at all these motels the front desk staff are useless, yess the room are old and don’t have modern amenities. People leave 1 or 2 stars because the old run down motel turns out to be, well, an old run down motel.
We got there and the lady said that there were no rooms available until 4. Then a few minutes later it got colder, and began to snow, so she then said she had a room for us. We walked in, and someone's trash was still in the table, bed not made, it wasn't at all cleaned up after the last person. They put us In a different room, but the key didn't work on the lock. So every time we left and came back, we had to ask someone to open our door. And each time, they had an attitude about it because THEIR keys didn't work on the door. They had bed bugs. I had bites all down my leg. Found one in my daughter's diaper bag. Found one in the pillow on the bed. We were due to check out on Sunday at noon. But the maid banged on the door on Saturday, called the phone several times, and then opened our door and LEFT IT OPEN while we were in bed still. It was also snowing outside. She "didn't know" what day we we're due to check out. After they told her we had one more day, she didn't even apologize for anything. Leaving our door wide open, while it's snowing, cold air coming in, and we have a newborn inside. And the last night there, we walked to 7-Eleven a couple blocks away. It was night time. A polish(who in general was very rude to us) staff lady was coming up the stairs, and we stopped and asked if she would open our door again when we came back. She said no, because it is night time, and my 1 month old should be sleeping. She then went on to tell me I am a bad mother because I'm bringing my daughter out "past her bedtime". The worst motel ever. The whole stay was nothing but bullshit from the staff. I so not recommended it. At all. I'd give 0 stars and report them if I could.
Please don't go here! I've been here in the summer of 2016 and one of the things is that once you leave your belongings in the room, the moment you return there's a likely chance for you not able to see some of your things again. 1. They're gone 2. It's not safe. So i likely recommend to pay at least a hotel or another decent motel. -Thank you
