We mainly spent time on the carnival rides. They were quite fun and things at the carnival seemed well maintained. We went on the tilt-a-whirl, the carousel, and the sizzler. All were fun and in good condition. There were so many vendors and there were lots of carnival games as well. The food and games were so pricey so we limited ourselves on what we did. But we tried the basketball toss and got a funnel cake, which was delicious, and some lemonade.
There are some awesome talented artists at this Summerfest this year. It's so much nicer at Willow Park. So much more room and space for everyone. Thank you for a great time. I highly recommend this to all my family members and friends. 👍
One of the events in cache valley I am so excited for every year! I love seeing how talented people are! So fun!
We're from Salt Lake and have come up for the last 7 or 8 years. We've loved this arts festival and find it the coolest (weather wise) of the summer. We've found fun things to buy. Sometimes we go looking for something we found in the past. Often the artist doesn't return. I think I prefer the former location by the Tabernacle better than the Fairground, but this year may be different. More trees is nice, but the sidewalks were easier to navigate. The food trucks were not as good last year. Hope the Crepes truck returns.😉
Always a fun time wandering around Summerfest and looking at all of the awesome art. Great food options too!
Not enough parking, bad location because cars were parking in front of residences. Maybe negotiate with the public pool to give half parking? Forget getting food, a taco is 13 dollars. Most of the booths are very overpriced 125-250 for a windchime, etc. A lot of the same vendors selling same things. We liked the free entertainment but reminded me of the Saturday farmers market, nothing special. I do highly recommend the Texas twister lemon drink if you are willing to pay 12 dollars for 1 drink. Overall, it wasn't bad but it's not something I'd go back too after 30 min of walking around.
My wife was a vendor here. They hired someone new to run the art festival and they did a terrible job. We had very little foot traffic on our side of the grounds, and tree limbs falling was a constant fear. One art vendor actually was isolated by 200ft from the rest of the fair and had maybe 2 people walk past her booth. Terribly managed and we will not be returning as vendors.
