Summer Sands Suites - Motel in Wrightsville Beach - 104 S Lumina Ave, USA

We had a great stay at Summer Sands this past weekend. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were very friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited, but we knew that going in so made sure not to bring an extra vehicle. We were on the back side with a view of the condos across the street so no ocean view but it was nice to be able to look over the pool so we could send the kids down and hang out on the balcony. The beds were comfortable, and the murphy bed was really easy to get up and down. There was an ice maker in the freezer, which was a plus. Overall, it was a great stay, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Summer Sands was wonderful! The young ladies at the check in desk could not have been any nicer. They were very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Everything we could have wanted was within walking distance. The best part of Summer Sands Suites was the fact they welcomed us and our pet with open arms. We will definitely go back!

Summer sands is such a nice place to stay for vacation! Walking distance to everywhere and the rooms are huge & beautiful! Even got to see the prettiest sunset if you stay on the marina side! Also the front desk lady is the sweetest!! Thank you summer sands for a great vacay!

Disappointed! We have loved coming to Summer Sands for 20+ years but our most recent experience was unpleasant. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights over July 4th weekend and we received absolutely zero housekeeping services. We had to take out our trash, restock fresh towels and go get our own kitchen supplies. The switch to the new management was an epic fail. I called SeaScape and they offered very little except to tell me they don’t provide daily service anymore. Not what they are advertising in their rooms! Time to go elsewhere!!

Great place with a fantastic view of the intercoastal waterway. Beautiful sunsets! The room was clean, nicely appointed, and walking distance to everything in Wrightsville Beach. Check in and out process was simple and convenient. Management was very helpful and pleasant. We were able to get a dog friendly room! It came with cute little dog bowls, and a blanket for our pup! Kitchen was very nice. Beach access steps away. Great stay, will be back!

This was our second year at Summer Sands. We stayed for three months with our dog. We love the location, the amenities and the fantastic staff. The care of our unit was done weekly by a very dedicated cleaning staff. The front desk was always responsive to requests for assistance or information needed to better enjoy the area. Summer Sands is a real gem in Wrightsville Beach area. We will be returning.

We had 4 rooms reserved for our family for the July 4 th weekend for 3 nights. During that stay, we did not receive any room service . NONE ! Nothing for any of the rooms!! We got our own k-cups, dishwashing tabs, towels and made our own beds. Trash was overflowing. We addressed this issue with management and only received an apology. Very disappointing.

What a great location and room! Lovely hotel, directly on the beach access #30 path. Room is spacious and clean. Staff super friendly. Many rooms allow dogs (woof!). The only hotel on this beach that allows dogs (what?!) Great little grocery (Robert’s) just a couple blocks away, walking distance. Amazing clothing Shop Hallelu, just steps away. Beach is quiet and lovely, amazing shells as the tide comes in. Great running on the beach - about 8 miles to go out and back from end to end of the island on the ocean side. Can easily make it 10 miles with additional excursion around the corners of the island.
