This is one of the best ice creams I’ve had since my allergies. I was so excited that I could have a gf waffle cone. The honey lavender vegan ice cream was so good, I was so grateful that it didn’t really taste like coconut, it really gets old having coconut flavored df ice creams

Stopped in for the first time ever after quadruple vaccines for our toddler. I think the owner was there and helped us. Super kind man. Very clean in the main lobby, and the bathrooms. Insofar as food options go, there were lots of traditional ice cream flavors as well as “fancier” and seasonal selections on hand. There were vegan ice creams, ice cream sandwiches, cookies, cake pops, and (surprisingly) a small selection of Andre’s chocolates available for purchase. I didn’t inquire about dietary restrictions because we don’t have any, but there was peanut butter used in several of the ice creams. Parking was abundant. It is easily accessible to the mobility impaired, however the door is not on a motor, so anyone in a wheel chair, crutches, etc, will need a hand. It is not a heavy door, though. Anyway, I’m delighted we stopped in and I think we’ll be getting our ice cream here from now on. Oh, and excellent service as well as competitive pricing!

Stopped on a whim after searching for homemade ice cream places. It was so good. Had the superhuman and hatch chili cornbread. Love that they have unusual creative flavors 😋

Summer Salt is our favorite ice cream place in the KC area. A bold statement I know since there are so many to choose from! Our top two reasons: lemon/lavender flavor & so many vegan flavors to choose from for my nut/dairy allergy family… oh and the waffle cones! So good!

First time in and the vegan ice cream was terrible. The two girls working (who seemed to be teenagers) had zero clue what was going on. They were not helpful ( like pulling teeth to get a question answered), not informed on the products they were selling, and terrible customer care. Ice cream was icy. Vanilla tasted like straight coconut. The Mint and salted caramel was overpowered with an artifical flavor. I Tried to pay with cash and they wouldn't accept it. I wont be going back to say the least.

Great selection of flavors... ...Especially for the dairy free customer. My wife said her non-dairy selection was "best ever". The service was great...even at a busy pace....patient and pleasant young ladies. The prices were fantastic for a "One Off" ice cream shop. I treated seven people for under $40, including a tip.

Summer Salt ice cream became our new favorite ice cream shop over the summer. The staff is always friendly and are happy to let you sample before making your decision. I always get one scoop of the ooey gooey butter cake. It is amazing! And with a homemade waffle cone, you can’t go wrong. I’ve never had a flavor I didn’t enjoy. They will also let you get two half scoops, so you don’t have to get a double scoop to order two flavors; which is very helpful for my waistline. There are several places to sit outdoors and a few stools to sit inside. You can also order outside at the window if you don’t want to go inside.

The ice cream I had here was so good! I'm a chocolate nut, so I got the chocolatiest option and it did not disappoint. The flavor, the hefty brownie chunks and crispy waffle cone left me not wanting!
