Dan has been running this place forever. It's the last place of its kind in Rehoboth. Absolutely everything is walkable. The beach is so close. Use a parking pass, park your car and you won't need it until it's time to leave. It's the beach-how much time do you spend in the room? A basic room with fridge and microwave. Perfect for a beach vacation! No place better than Rehoboth!

I had made reservations prior to staying here. It wasnt as bad as some say ,however each person's experience is diff. Mine was ok, the room we had needed some light cleaning but everything worked fine besides the TV was not very clear. Anyways the room is good to relax in between outings, shower, and of course sleep.

I recently stayed at Summer Place Hotel and had a fantastic experience. This hotel is incredibly affordable, making it a great option for budget-conscious travelers. The owner is a very nice and personable guy who goes out of his way to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. His warm hospitality added a special touch to my stay. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing all the essentials needed for a pleasant stay. The location is also convenient, with easy access to local attractions, dining options and the beach! Overall, I highly recommend Summer Place Hotel for anyone looking for a great value and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit!

Great location! We parked the car then walked everywhere. The room was clean. The staff was responsive to all my questions. They even offered the parking permit so we didn't have to pay the street parking meters. |This hotel was a Great choice for our first trip to Rehoboth Beach!

The owner Dan Miller is the RUDEST and most ARROGANT person I have ever encountered. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review, I admit, but he is absolutely incompetent of owning a business. My parents booked for a Saturday night, when they arrived crickets. No one there, like an empty house? Called the owners cell number from the hotels VM and he hung up like he was annoyed we were calling about the hotel stay. My parents ended up coming all the way back to our Airbnb and having to stay with us. We had to squeeze them in and make arrangements last minute. This man will not answer nor refund our money. If he doesn’t like what you’re saying HE HANGS UP the phone. Hung up on me, my mom, my sister and my husband. He is DEGRADING and does not have the courtesy to work, much less talk like a human to people and own a business. Don’t you need to be friendly to own a reputable business? My fault for ignoring the 2.4 stars. DO NOT STAY HERE….run away from this man. This is a toxic business and owner.

Was charged $288 for this tiny room. When arriving we unpacked went to the boardwalk...when returning we started unpacking and noticed the window was broke and wide open on the top portion slider with vines coming inside along with mosquitos, fridge and microwave didn't work. Urine stains on mattress, dirty pillow cases, dirty and stained linens. Upon further inspection found fecses smeared on the wall and in bthe bed, bed bugs everywhere, black mold everywhere from room into bathroom. Nails protruding from trim on the walls. No hot water and when confronting the duechbag manager he became very confrontational lying about all we showed him except the massive amounts of black mold. Got in my fiancees face made physical contact with her until I warned him with physical contact in self defense Money was returned but what a joke of a place. Don't come here it's a rip off. Sincerely J

The location and price get a 5 out of 5, and that's where the pros stop. I'll get my personal issue out of the way first, while checking in (took all of maybe 90 seconds) I got a parking ticket, the meter maids are incredibly fast around here, but it's virtually the same price as an overnight parking anyhow so not too mad. But at least let me check in first before I go looping around to find parking hahaha. The room: we got an apartment room rental, size was adequate for what we needed (2 men overnight) however it's very aged, plaster was loose on the ceiling, light fixtures barely holding onto the walls, wood paneling wants to come off the walls so badly, many holes in the walls, the most uncomfortable broken spring couch bed one could imagine. Didn't need any concierge as I know the area very well and just needed a place to crash for the night after running around town all day with a friend. For that it serves it's purpose. For the price point I'm satisfied but just barely. If you're younger than 30 and partying in town then this will suit your needs as it's quite loud unexpectedly. If you're looking for a really nice, clean, modern and plush hotel then keep looking. I will definitely be back however as it's the cheapest option in town with a pretty solid location and when I'm on vacation or traveling as long as there's a relatively clean bed, shower and a door that locks for a cheap price then I'm happy. This is for sure a mom and pop style operation so I don't fault them for the lack of upkeep to the furniture/lights ect when they're doing Apts for $80 a day during the busy season. There's much left to be desired here, but I don't desire much so I'm satisfied.

Positive: Proximity to the boardwalk/restaurants. Price was great. I don't have a vehicle, so I can't speak on the parking situation but it was perfect for when I needed a night to rest and I'll be going back for sure. Negative: "" Negative: ""
