Such a cute place!! Everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable, the jetted tub was so nice to have in the room. There was also a cute balcony with a little view. Bob's Restaurant had delicious food and great service. We will definitely be going back.
This was truly my best experience staying in a lodge. The room was spacious, well stocked with toiletry, and clean. The best part was that we booked a room with an amazing Jacuzzi that was inside the room! It was such a remedy to all the hikes we did in Mt Baker. We will definitely come back again!
Be AWARE!!!! You may reserve your room and never use it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They Charged my card and decided to leave home early!!!!!! Then they put no vacancies sign, should’ve read previous reviews, they did this before. We arrived before 9pm. It said to call ahead for reservations if you arrive after 9pm. Came before 8:30-8:40 no one was at the hotel, can’t reach anyone, no phone for after hours, have to sleep in the car. From the reviews looks like this happened before!!!!!!!!!
We have been traveling in an inadequate Motorhome for a month. It was such a relief to stay in a very pleasant lodge with very friendly staff. The room was great (very romantic). It had a tub which was the favorite part of the room for my wife. Overall we will stay there again when we’re traveling that part of North America.
Pro's: Very convenient and easily accessible when crossing the border from Canada. Having the restaurant on-premises was very convenient for breakfast, dinner, and drinks. Extremely friendly staff! Con's: While the rustic outdoors lodge feel is interesting the rooms could use some updating. Cleaning lady showed up at 7 am being very assertive and pushy to clean the room while we were still dressing, packing and getting ready for breakfast. Felt very rushed, given checkout wasn't till 11 am.
The rooms are amazing, the Canadian border is visible from the parking lot, and there's a bobs burger downstairs, it's a great place to stay, only thing I didn't like was the fact that the front desk is inside the restaurant so if you need to check out early the doors are locked and you have to just toss the room key under the door, but there are no signs saying that, would be nice if there was a lock box with a sign to drop the room key in when checking out early
Slow check-in. Nice size room with jacuzzi. The bed was okay. Noice from the restaurant and from the street. The border is really close. Free parking.
Old log building that has a large restaurant on the main floor with hotel rooms above it. The restaurant is the main part of the business. The rooms are quaint and unique. Our room (#9) had a corner 2 person jet tub. The room was quite spacious with a small balcony. The only reason I would not give it a 5 is the internet was terrible and the TV didn't work for us.
