Beautiful park and large grassy area to play ball
Great exercise equipment, including for those with disabilities. The children’s playground is nice and clean. No bathrooms so 4 stars/ but other than that, great park for jogging and getting fit.
Grew up spending lots of time in this park. Hadn't been back for close to 10yrs. Went at night and it brought back many memories. It's been touched up and maintained quite nicely. In the 15yrs i lived in the area and frequented the park, it was rough and unkempt but WE LOVED IT still. It's nicer looking and more welcoming now. Nice track, benches, well lit. Nothing like it once was, but it still looks similar enough to evoke those fond memories. Miss those times
Good place to walk around
This is such a beautiful hidden gem!!! Located in the middle of a quiet neighborhood and righg behind a school, it offers something for everyone! Love the outdoor gym space and the childrens play area. The park is the perfect spot for an afternoon picnic with its many trees providing shade. There is a trail paved for jogging as well as running. I love the fact that the park has a small trail that takes you to a lake filled with turtles, fish, and ducks.
I stayed 5 days at a recovery house after surgery, and the park was adjacent to he backyard. The park was never noisy or distracting. I was able to take peaceful walks for exercise each day, without the fear of anything unpleasant happening to me. I felt very safe. The neighbors around the park were very kind as well.
The staff is great, friendly, informative. We took 2 of the 1 hour tours. Both were very interesting. After the tours the guests are encouraged to roam much of the grounds at their leisure. All facilities were good.
A good sized park located behind Claude Pepper Elementary School, my former primary School. There's a basketball court, a playground, and a trail that loops around for those looking to get some exercise.
The playground area itself has widened for more room to play in. There are 4 sets of swings--2 are regular swings and 2 other ones are chair-like for those who just want to sit back and recline. Parts of the playground have the blue rubber flooring and other parts are sand. There are no parking lots, but you can park along the street right by the park.
Overall, this is a nice park to take a stroll, play some bball, or take kids on the playground.

Very calm park for walking, biking, tennis, pool,roller skating, baseball and baseball cages. Many event take place here like the annual fair expo, gun shows and police trainings. I love this park so much I always make sure to keep it clean.
This is the REAL DOG BEACH! I have tried the other ones but couldn't take my dog on the beach. This one we could sit, swim, and walk. Great place, don't hesitate to go.
