friendly folks. awesome condo. great long range views (we could see VA, and TN from our 7th floor perch). some geezer didn't know the difference between the sauna and the adjacent workout area. it was off-putting tio listen to the grunts and groans of his workout while we were trying to relax in the sauna. I'm not even going to discuss that "view".

We stayed in the Sugar Top Cabin suite. It was fantastic. Great views, very quiet, and awesome staff! Definitely would recommend it!

We were not allowed to get any closer than you see in the pictures. That makes sense because these are privately owned condos -the gentleman at the gate said we had to go through a real estate person to be able to see the condos. But I was happy just to get as close as we did and take a picture.

The views are awesome. The condo we rented was very nice and clean. Although I wish we had brought some throw covers with us. We weren't aware to turn on the water heater upon arrival but we soon figured it out. The building is older and a bit spooky if you are a horror movie junkie. But, overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay. The pool was refreshing and the other amenities were nice as well. Sure it's dated a bit but still nice just the same. I don't think people realize that the condos themselves are privately owned; as to my knowledge so each one is updated according to the specific owners not the resort itself.

All of the shuttle staff are rude and have zero customer service skills. Shuttle lady called the cops on us for not being able to see the parking lines during a blizzard that came through. Even the cop was confused. Then the shuttle lady slowly drove around watching our kids play in the back for no apparent reason. Front desk also has poor customer service skills. Very confusing and some staff don’t seem to know much information. Be aware that staying here you have to park at the bottom of the mountain as a guest and get a ride up even though at least half of the building is airbnbs 🙄 the empty parking lot next to the condo is for the owners only. They have a storage room for skis and snowboards as well. The condo we rented was very nice and clean as is the rest of the building but the harassment and staff make it completely undesirable to stay in ever again. Would have given 1 star if not for the amazing condo itself. We stayed on the 10th floor.

This is my second time stay in this resort and each time has been amazing. The condos are spotless and beautiful. The views are breathtaking and in every direction you look. The drivers that do the pickup and drop off service are my favorite. They are all so nice and so personable. We will try to always stay here when we visit. It's location is perfect close to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather mountain. I highly recommend 👏👏👏

We stayed in unit 2111. It was really nice and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was well maintained and had views of the mountains. The tiles were slick, so be careful. Guests have to take a shuttle from the building to the parking lot, but it runs constantly and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes. I would stay again.

No bueno for families. They have this weird no parking for renters thing you don’t find out about until you get there. Stayed there with little kids and it was a disaster, looked fun online tho. Parking is remote with shuttle like the airport. The security staff and front desk staff did not seem to have it together. Took forever and never had answers. Pool / fitness area is HIGHLY embellished in the photos. A building like this should have a true common area, but it doesn’t even have a table to sit at, restaurant, bar, or real mini-mart. An extra star for the view, but they built way too much building on top of the mountain for the parking, common area, and amenities.
