Suburban Studios - Extended stay hotel in Raleigh - 4810 Bluestone Dr, USA

Checked in Friday got in the room cigarette burned sheets, had to call down to the front desk to explain to them the situation. To be told to come get new sheets I ended up just buying some more. Saturday morning comes to waking up to go into the bathroom baby Roaches coming out had to kill them then sat on the chair in the room Roaches started coming from the bottom I called the Front Desk the older Black lady with a very bad attitude said I quote “We have people who come and spray once a month” “ There’s nothing I can do I’ll just informed management” “And you’ll just have to deal with it” mind you I asked if there was a possibility to move rooms she said take it up with management. I ended up just walking to the desk sat and waited for her to finish with the guest she had once he left she sat down and didn’t even Acknowledge me until she was ready mind you I sat there and just waited. When I had spoke with her and told her I was the room that called she Got hostile and irate started being very argumentative before I could even say anything then tells me to get out the office I am literally about to cry and had to call Choice customer service . Thank God, I did as she calls her manager, telling her Manager that I was doing god knows what while smiling at me Getting entertainment off of somebody else hurting. After getting off the phone with Choice and her in the background Being so nasty I leave just to go back upstairs to the room because we’re on vacation. Not even five minutes later a knock at the door Four police officers are trespassing us off the property and she’s telling them lies. This is the first time I even said anything to this woman was about switching rooms because of roaches. We had to sleep in our car to finish out our vacation because we were out of town. To see someone in hospitality and know that these people have your personal information is scary especially when you get to see the malicious intent behind that person on their face and their actions and words. So I do hope she gets fired and karma comes back to those who do people so bad. Especially when customers are at the mercy of the establishment is so scary

I WANT MY MONEY BACK! Roaches were everywhere. We got changed to 5 different rooms and every room had roaches! The WHOLE property is infested! And the staff act like they don’t know anything! The fridge had roaches so we had to throw our food out. The freezer was the only sad compartment! The property needs to be condemned! And the lady at the front desk was rude! Said we complained too much! Reply to hotel, you do not care.. All you care about is the money. The guy from the front desk called the manager and she could only offer another roach infested room.. keep your apology please.. I should be compensated for the room and the food that was lost due to your roaches.

Suburban studios is a great place to stay at. I was on vacation and needed a hotel to stay in. Jackie was very accommodating and knew the area well and all the best places to go. The hotel staff is quick to respond to requests and the rooms are top notch and have everything you need. 10/10 will stay again 😊

Let me first begin by stating the pictures pictured on the website are obviously very OLD! The room I was given looks absolutely NOTHING like the pictures! Secondly, this place is NOT even worth a review! My family and I stayed one night and it was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in!! The furniture is very old and falling apart. The floors haven’t been mopped in forever! The bathroom furniture is falling apart! The bathroom tub was so disgusting I wouldn’t bathe my pet in it!! Thirdly, the room was infested with ROACHES!! My wife called the front desk the next morning after seeing so many roaches and was told the Exterminator hadn’t come the week of my stay! Well, from the amount of roaches we killed. The Exterminator hadn’t been there in months maybe longer! After witnessing a roach crawling on the headboard of the bed! My family had seen enough and we checkout a day early!! We wane to the front desk and asked to speak with the Manager. Unfortunately, we were told the Manager was not on duty! Lastly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and wouldn’t ever stay again!!

Filthy / ROACHES GALORE hood / the entrance tells you everything YOU NEED TO KNOW looks like a hotel trap ! Only reason I have two stars is because the guy at the desk was nice but couldn’t do much to help me except offer another room even thought the first room smelled of mold with stained musty carpet worn down cover NOT even a comforter gross then they introduced us to the roach special at first glance the room looked nice however moments later creepy crawly also while siting on the bit I get getting what felt like tiny bites management tries to avoid giving you a refund by stating you must wait until tomorrow I came here with my toddler and 11yr old no one slept because of the bugs They would not issue the refund which was needed to book somewhere else also this was a blind hotel pick big mistake Do NOT GO YOU CANT EVEN UNPACK YOUR THINGS you and your children will be sick ! From disease carrying buga Refund me Update they gave me a third room which is clean and up-to-date only noticed one little baby roach crawl across the counter if it wasn’t for the roaches it wouldn’t be a bad room now we have to keep the lights on so now sleep

If you’ve ever wanted to keep the lights and TV off so no one knows you’re in there, this place is for you. If you’ve ever wanted to wonder if that was your door handle or the neighbors jiggling, this place is for you. If you’ve ever wanted to hear a gun battle by your car, this place is for you. If you like to play Name that Stain with the flashlight on your phone, this place is for you. If you’ve ever wanted to just leave anything that touched the floor, this place is for you. If you miss the smell of bowling alley shoes when they allowed smoking, this place is for you. If you like to set your AC on 85, this place is for you. If you want to really, really appreciate the morning, this place is for you.

One star, not only was i there for almost two months, i’ve made several inquiries about fixing the stove that DOES NOT HEAT UP! god forbid your room key stops working at night, you have to call them and they give you the worst attitude ever. don’t even think of a manager because they will never let you speak to one! they are the worst staff possible to deal with! they kicked me, and my bf and our two little pets out on a rainy day with no notice and no guarantee of a refund for the nights I PAID FOR and they kicked me out before then, i don’t see how this is humane at all! why not just wait 3 days till my room goes up! horrible customer service , sylvia specifically needs to be reevaluated!

Would not stay here again. Reeked of cigarettes and the bathroom constantly smelled like weed from people smoking in other bathrooms. They do not and I repeat DO NOT CLEAN WELL IF AT ALL!!! I found two drawers full of aluminum foil with drug residue and more underneath the bed. The floor hasn’t been vacuumed in lord knows how long. I never saw or heard a vacuum. Attached is a picture from a hand vacuum after 30 seconds it was already full. The only positives are cheap and location. Also, all the reviews about the smell are true. Even if you take a shower there you and your clothes are going to smell like this place until washed really well. It’s a moldy, smoky smell that just lingers.
