Suburban Studios near Panama City Beach - Extended stay hotel in Panama City - 4432 US-98, USA

Rooms are ok, but staff is unaccommodating. Arrived at 2:49, and was told they couldn't check me in until 3:00. Never heard of this. Usually, if room is ready, they check you in. At 3:00, she checked me in. Then my alarm clock couldn't set time. Was told it " Its an alarm clock, it doesn't show time, it only rings when you wake up" . She refused to check other rooms or get me a replacement. Awful place, could have resulted in a better review, but I wont stay here again. I didn't mind I was probably, the only Enlish speaking person in the whole hotel. The clientele base are mostly labor workers on job assignments.

Staff was helpful, our room was very clean and it’s only 10minutes from everything we wanted to experience. We didn’t notice our music was too loud, they knocked and politely asked us to turn it down and we did.

Me and my family drove 9 hours away to be placed in a room with mold and with a TV that didn't work...I took pictures...the man was RUDE and we was rude too..because not only did he lie but he aldo made us pay extra...I am going to make sure that I tell the world that the service was a hot mess and the mold was disturbing...the only positive thing i haft to say is that they are going too refund me my money ..we didnt deserve that

I would not stay here if they paid me to. What I presume was the owners wife was a rude, mouthy, unprofessional “business person”. After driving 6 hours to meet my bf for a long awaited weekend off together, I arrived early in the morning and was told to leave, they didn’t accept visitors that early and when I waited outside for him, so we could make other arrangements she threatened to call the local law enforcement. What? Ok. After all that she interrogated him about declaring guests and there being a possible 50 dollar fee. 50 bucks is nothing to most people on vacation. But now the only reason I would pull in that parking lot would be to show people where NOT to stay.

Our overall experience was good. It was a good room at an affordable price. However, The bathroom needed minor repairs. The shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall therefore it was very difficult to shower without water getting on the floor. I had to tighten the shower head myself because it was spraying on the drywall walls and ceiling. If we had not “fixed “ it, it would have ruined the drywall by the end of the week. Also, the exhaust fan was not working properly and made a screeching noise our entire stay. The rest of the room was fine but the bathroom definitely needs some work to meet our standards. We will stay here again due to the convenience and friendly staff, but please fix the bathroom amenities.

The ONLY thing I can say bad about this place is that it did not have a toaster or coffee in the lobby. The staff are great, the price is ridiculously low & it's located in a great area.

The hotel was very clean, updated and affordable and has a little kitchenette. It was easy to find from the main road and the front desk clerk was friendly and let us check in early. It was also close to the beach and restaurants and I would recommend this place if you're planning to stay in Panama City, Florida.
