My fiance and I stayed 2 nights. The staff was friendly. Jeremy and Jasmine made check in easy and fast. The room was clean and larger than we expected. We loved the large jacuzzi tub. Its in a good location near restaurants and stores. We will definitely be back soon.

We have probably stayed here at least 7 times in the past years, usually a month at a time. At 1st the hotel was clean and well run. There has been at least 3 turnovers in this amount of time not saying how many staff changes. This time there is hardly anyone at the front desk which in my opinion is unprofessional. Several times I have been to the front desk or by the front desk and no one is there to help. We have been here 10 days and someone has yet to clean our room. We moved in on a Friday and the policy is they come every 7 days. When they did not come on the 7th day I inquired and I was told they would come the next day. Today is Monday and I went to the front desk and again no one was there. An employee actually walked by me at the front desk with her head down looking at their phone so I was not seen. I am very disappointed. This may be a convenient place to stay but I will definitely rethink where we will stay on our future jobs in La Place.

So I’m gonna give this place 3 stars. It has nothing to do with the employees. They were all really nice, accommodating & knowledgeable. But what I didn’t like was that.. our toilet seat was broken, there were rips in the carpet and we had to keep our room cold to cancel out the smell. The smell wasn’t putrid but.. it definitely has that mildew smell. Anyways.. We enjoyed our stay & had a blast in New Orleans! 😊

Now the only reason we came here is because it was much closer to work. The hotel itself is decent enough, but it's sad to see that only maybe 1 of the many receptionists here takes their job seriously. I've been to the front desk multiple times for several occasions and usually someone is always asleep or stoned as all hell. I went down to ask for change once and the receptionist zoned out for almost a good 10 seconds and you just knew he was high. During the night, this other one seems to sleep in the office because upon stepping out, they got rustled hair and sleepy eyes. What irritates me most though is once we were told that our last day was a Wednesday, so on our way to work, we went to the front to pay another night, but we were told we still had another day left. However, they took a note and assured us they'd go ahead and automatically bill us for another 2 nights, like we requested. 2 days go by and we get billed $475 FOR ANOTHER WEEK! We only needed 2 more nights! They didn't warn us or leave a note that we had a payment due, despite the note they left behind! Someone there just decided to run our card for the amount without authorization! We tried to change it, but in the end, there wasn't much we could do other than beg our job to give us a few more days of work to make up the money. Overall, the stay wasn't so bad, but the people helping run it, excluding the cleaning staff and that one man who actually comes into work dressed professionally, really need another quick run of training. That's all this hotel needs to jump from a 3.0 rating to a 4.5.

I stayed at this location for 3 weeks only because of the convenience factor to where I was working. The hotel itself is okay, my room was clean when I arrived. However, several of the items in the room did not work. The hotel allows smoking so you have to deal with the smell. It is a older place and it shows. My biggest complaint is the staff!! Absolutely horrible!!!! Everytime I paid my weekly rate they would charge me $300-$500 extra. Than verbally and extremely unprofessional argue with me and say “it’s not their problem” It was mine. Eventually the charges would be removed and it worked out. However the staff had no clue what they were doing had no clue how to even charge my credit card correctly. None of the staff I (encountered) seemed knowledgeable whatsoever. I will not be a repeat customer this location. I will never recommend this place under the current management and staff.

The Customer service front desk was very VERY unfriendly. They did not greet us upon arriving to the hotel. Instead of assisting guest for check in they were outside taking cigarette breaks. We were treated like a problem and inconvenience instead of guest. When our bath towels ran out we had to bring dirty towels to the front desk in order to get fresh towels for use. Very unprofessional and inconvenient. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth it. The check in time is extremely late and the check out is super early. NOT WORTH IT!

I finally retired from the oil field and my wife and I are touring the South. We just found this place passing along I-10 and needed a rest. Let me start with the staff, the young lady at check in was so polite and helpful. I was impressed as usually value hotels are not the most friendly. My wife also said the housekeeper she talked to about restaurants was very pleasant as well.||Our room was clean and orderly. Overall, I would recommend that anyone passing through and need a room give them a try. ||Also, it was minutes from a Swamp Tour that we both thoroughly loved!||I need to find my receipt for them so I can review them as well! My wife and I both thought the boat captain was hysterical!

This was my second stay at this location. No problem. Did our usual Clorox wipes wipe down. The carpet in the room needs some major attention so I didn't even walk around in my socks. |There was a line when I arrived for check in. I waited while Trey took care of the couple and the gentleman ahead of me. I have him my ID and credit card and told him I was checking in. He asked if I had a reservation. I said yes and then he answered the phone. I stood there and waited while he had a nice conversation wirh a lady who was calling to get some room rates but wasn't goibg to book at this time because she was just getting rates right now. Her sister was staying and yes she and the family checked in yesterday. |Once he ended this call. He asked me again, do you have a reservation? |I thought to myself, what pitiful customer service compared to the last time I was here. |I was a bit taken aback. |I will stay here again. It's a great location, quiet, clean and a good value. ||
