I have been coming to Substation II my entire life and I still love the number 19 on pita. However, the quality has gone down over the years. The quantity of meat on these subs has definitely been reduced over the years and the prices are WAY too high for a cold sandwich. Over 15 bucks for a sub without a drink or chips in my opinion is just too much. Almost 60 bucks for 3 people to have a sandwich, chips, and a drink is ridiculous. Go get you a steak dinner with salad and a side for the same price…
Best subs in town! The turkey and cheese sandwich was amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful with choices. I would highly the steak and cheese as well!
The service was good, the sandwich was okay and the atmosphere has been the same for years, The prices are unbelievably high for a family of 3 to eat. May as well go to a buffet instead of going there. You will get more for your money.
This place peaked about 15 years ago and it lasted for about 3 years. Since then, the speed, quality of service, and energy just isnt there and many long time regulars dont visit nearly as much anymore. Although still a good option for your lunch break and when you need a break from typical fast food. The #19 will continue to be a staple in the community.
Food was ok....Service is extremely slow. Have you wait too long!! I remember my brother working there they would get you in and out!!!
As always Amazing and the ladies were making sure the hard working men eat I'm fairly sure everyone in there eating was from construction guys to the power company to the city workers great food keep it up
This place is no where near the hype that I have heard . Bread was dry like it was a little old. The sandwich left something to be desired. I would think it would be off the chain with the prices .it was a clean and friendly restaurant for sure .
Rude employees. Don't ask for heavy tomato or heavy anything because they get smart with you and say u have to pay extra for that. On an order that cost almost $30...I don't think so. Never have I ever had that problem and I've been going there for a very long time. Maybe 25 years. The food is good but the employees are so rude
