While this is a beautiful little park it definitely needs some upkeep. Sad to see that children's "play area" looking like it's been out of service since the 1950's 😣. It does have a decent restroom though. I took lots of pictures so... Enjoy
This park is pretty functional. Lots of space and parking. Bathrooms. Horseshoe pits to play. Over the years I have seen countless events held here. Including our community yard sale to car shows. There is a nice boat ramp to get onto the Coquille river.
Car show and my gf's class reunion. Good band with great song selection. We danced a few.
Beautiful park. The grounds are always kept very clean & grass is always mowed. The camp host, Rick, has been there for about 7 yrs. He was always courteous & helpful. Super nice guy. 2 days ago was his last day. I think he retired. Rick, you'll be missed. Thank you Rick for always being helpful & a super cool guy 🙂
This park is so fun. It's like a little hidden toddler paradise. Definitely bring rain boots and expect your kiddos to get a little dirty though. There is a decent amount of parking, a super fun (but also a bit creepy looking) wooden play structure/slide and a few nice picnic areas. Restrooms, overnight camping ($10), a boat ramp and fishing.
Take your fishing pole and fish off the dock at the river side here. RV camping spots too and a restroom. The Coquille River is a stream, about 36 miles long, in southwestern Oregon in the United States. It drains a mountainous area of 1,059 square miles of the Southern Oregon Coast Range into the Pacific Ocean.
Good spot, boat launch, pickynickee tables bathrooms and a Vetera s Memorial well taken care of.
I saw a review saying the camp host was aggressive. Aggressively friendly, maybe! Best host I have come across in quite some time. And we travel a lot! He encouraged us to park on the grass, right by the river. Most places restrict every little thing you can do. 3 thousand people had been in the park for an event the day before, and there was no sign of it, no trash, nothing. Pretty amazing, they must have some great volunteers or City workers.
I've ate there a dozen times, always great food, good service, and prices that are fair to the portion. I love that the beer is always cold, that's important to me. I will say this last visit had above exceptional service and food. I recommend this pl
The woman working that night was very efficient, friendly and professional. With ten minutes to closing time and three customers in the store, a lot of people working in any restaurant would show at least mild annoyance but she absolutely did not and
