Studio 6 Phoenix, AZ - Deer Valley - Extended stay hotel in Phoenix - 18405 N 27th Ave, USA

I left my room to grab a water from the vending machine and there was a security guard outside seemingly waiting for anyone who passed by checking IDs. I wasn’t exactly carrying my wallet, so I go back to the room to get my wallet and i hear loud knocking at the door. As I open it, he jams his foot in the door and tells me he’s doing a safety inspection. I tell him he does not have permission to enter the room, which he ignores as his eyes dart around the room looking for a reason to proceed with his plan. Noting an “unregistered guest” (the office had already been closed) in my bed, he announces he’s kicking me out of my room for violating a registration policy that was de-facto impossible to abide by. He says I need to gather my things and get off the property, at 3 in the morning! I still had 3 days left on my reservation, and without any kind of warning, he’s unilaterally banning me from the property and threatening to trespass me. No superior to appeal to. Flustered, angry and embarrassed I didn’t know what kind of legal authority he had to take this action but with the threats of going to jail, and no one to take my dog, I was not in a position to argue. No privacy at this motel. Room was alright though. Shower and Sheets were clean.

This was literally the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. Holes in the walls as if there was a huge fight in the room. Ants and no ant traps or any other attempt to clean them up. My cat got ringworm in her ears. And they had the audacity to charge me an extra $15 for god-knows-what. Probably because the guy at the desk didn't know how to check me out on time. Then there was the rate changes. I get hotel rates change. But I've never had this happen to me. I asked the guy how much it would be for a week. He told me $425. I asked him how long I had to pay that before the rates change and he told me I had until checkout the next day. I didn't even take that long to get the money transfered. Maybe 10 minutes? I go back in to give him my card, and he says it's actually $515 now. Like, dude, why didn't you save my reservation before the rates changed?! So I call corporate and he treated me terribly and refused to do anything for me or even let me talk to anyone else. He even hung up on me. It was so bad that, after years of staying either Studio/Motel 6, I refuse to ever stay at another one again.

My stay here has been amazing. They clean the property and make guest pick up their dog poop. Cash is always very nice and make sure she gets my room towels.

It's a dump. I had to stay here for a week while moving houses. Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and had cigarette burns all over the counters. The light in the bathroom was out and I had to change it myself. The entire motel reeked of cigarettes. The room was nowhere as nice as the room pictured. I feel lucky that it didn't have bed bugs. I would not recommend staying here unless you need a cheap place.

The office staff is amazing they are very understanding and willing to work with people. They put their residents as top priority. The rooms are always clean and they are always willing to swap out sheets if needed.

Wonderful stay, Highly recommend the rooms were very clean. We stayed here a couple months ago. Have to say this is one of the most better visits. I've had this time. Ashley was very helpful. And has been great with our company

This place is a DUMP. Burn marks EVERYWHERE, cabinets broken or missing. The guy at the front desk has no idea what he's doing and will smile while he insults you because his manager (who you can HEAR in the back so you know she hears what's going on) will refuse to come out and deal with the problem in a way that might resolve it. There's no free wifi as advertised but they'll give you 8 passwords to try that don't work and suggest you pay for their (better wifi) or call customer service yourself and have them help you figure it out which surprise surprise they can't either. Bring shower shoes, oh and a shower curtain, you will be amazed at how long it can take for them to give you one because this room apparently doesn't come with one.

This place was great.I've never stayed somewhere that was so clean and quiet.They have laundry pets can stay with you I had no problems checking in and the room was great for the price.| Good sized kitchens. They even have cooking intensils and dishes that you can use while you're there at no charge
