Studio 6 Monroe, LA - Hwy 165 - Extended stay hotel in Monroe - 1501 Martin Luther King Junior Drive, USA

Room was absolutely roach infested. The staff was short with us and rude. Our room was COVERED in roaches. We got a non smoking room, but it smelled strongly of smoke and they said that's because we were in between 2 smoking rooms. Gave us a bottle of febreeze and said they had no other rooms. Our items got locked in the room, because the maintenance person told the front desk staff that the lock battery was dying and they didn't change it. They talked about it loudly in front of us. We didn't have a real blanket on our bed. Only multiple sheets layered. There were dead roaches on the wall from previous people killing them, dead roaches in the FRIDGE, and live roaches all over. When I complained about the roaches to the front desk, he offered no solution, never said "I'm so sorry about that," no refund offer, no free stay in the future offer, said there was no one I could talk to, and insinuated I was a liar because all he would say is "No one else gas complained about that." I left my name, number, room number, and date, on a post it note to get a manager to call me. No one ever called. I would literally rather sleep on the street that stay in that room again. The dead and live roaches all over the room, were more than enough proof I was telling the truth. We stayed there about a week before and that room was fine. I'm not a scammer, I'm a customer who paid to comfortably stay somewhere and kept waking up because of the insane amount of roaches. They could have remedied the situation but instead were rude, dismissive, and did not reach out. A refund was MORE than necessary. What an insane way to treat customers. Who wants to sleep in a smoke filled roach infested room? This was not a new issue either, there were bug droppings on every shelf and besides and under the microwave. It was genuinely disgusting and unsafe.

I don’t even know where to start…the entire shower is ABSOLUTELY disgusting the microwaves are so gross to my surprise even found pubic hair on the plate. The mirrors do not get cleaned at all, the toilet not working even the lid was left open. Told lady in the office the room was dirty could I get another room, she didn’t look too happy about that and gave me another room only to get another dirty room plus a little worse than the previous. I pulled up the bedsheets to at least use that to cover my kids since covers and blankets looked questionable. Inside it had dog hair and small particles. Roaches scurrying around, mirrors dirty, microwave, tv the tv stand the telephone had lots of small roaches as well. Don’t waste your hardworking money here so you can be given gross roach infested rooms..

Stayed here for 1 night and had a very bad experience. It was noisy all night mostly because of other guests at this place. But also, it was very smelly and not well maintained. The room floor was slippery. Shower was dirty and shower head was dripping. And the blankets and bed covers were not clean as well. This stay brought a very bad impression on Studio 6 overall.

A woman, who my wife thinks is the owner, had the audacity to tell us to remove our own sheets from the bed and TAKE THEM TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM because she was allergic to dogs. First off, if you are allergic to dogs, don't work there. Secondly, hire someone who isn't allergic to dogs. Thirdly, if you aren't willing to hire someone who isn't allergic to dogs, don't advertise the establishment as being pet-friendly. And lastly... If you are gonna tell me to do your housekeeping job, you can hire me as a housekeeper and I'll have no problem doing the job. And when I told the lady that it wasn't my job to do her job, she said that we were banned. I don't know about anyone else, but when I go out to eat at a restaurant and finish my meal, I've never been told to take my dishes to the back. And whenever I've stayed at any other hotel, I'VE NEVER BEEN ASKED, LET ALONE TOLD, TO TAKE THE SHEETS OFF OF THE BED AND TAKE THRM TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM BEFORE I CHECKED OUT OF A ROOM! YOU ARE PREJUDICE, RACIST, AND EXTREMELY RUDE! YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND MADE AWARE OF YOUR EXTREME UNPROFESSIONALISM.

#1-An employee has a pit bull tied to the fence and I was out walking my service dog and didn't see it. Nothing posted. The employee said, and I quote "if my dog breaks his chain it will be your fault." I guess if the dog sees a 3 yr old and breaks his chain its the 3 yr olds fault!? #2-Im disabled and my ride was running late and I was thrown out at 11:01am. They wouldn't let me close my door to get my stuff together and I was basically threatened to get out IMMEDIATELY. I had to pay someone $10 just to get out in a hurry because I was scared for my safety. #3-My package from FedEx didn't get to me even though FedEx said it was delivered. #4-Loud music and people running around all hours of the night. I'm 56 and have stayed in many motels in my life but I've never been compelled to write a review and warn travelers. This is a franchise and I will be sending pics of the dog and the threatening employees to the franchise headquarters. BEWARE OF THIS DIVE MOTEL!!!

Place was dirty when we stayed, sinks, toilet, cabinets, refrigerator, very loud n noisy from other people staying there, the cable or TV kept pausing for long periods of time, couldn't watch TV, mystery bugs on the bed

I truly enjoyed my time here. I can say that shower was awesome when it came to water pressure. It was like getting a light massage. The kitchen was nice with updated features. Although a bit of a tease sence there was no dishes or pans to cook and eat with. But for a long term stay I would greatly recommend

These people are beating down the door at 9:07 @m if you gone stay baby you gone pay before 10@m. But the covers are burnt 🔥 up and the sheets are dirty looking. Never thought 🤔 I did reviews huh?
