Studio 6 Mesquite, TX - Dallas - Extended stay hotel in Mesquite - 2514 Balch Springs Rd, USA

The room was clean, quiet, comfortable beds. You do hear the cars driving by but it did not bother us at all. It's a no thrills hotel, but met all our needs. The bigger refrigerator & freezer was a plus. No elevator, so if you can't carry your suite case up the stairs ask for a floor level room. The staff was very nice. I would stay here again if ever in the Dallas area.

This place is perfect for a nice quiet stay. The rooms are clean just as pictured, excellent reception service is a plus. Definitely will be coming back here for our next stay in Dallas.

Harry, the front desk associate was extremely welcoming and friendly. I wasn't aware of the $100 deposit (cash or debit/credit card) upon check-in, Harry informed it does show on the website when I booked and he even pulled it up for me to see. He was never rude about it or had an attitude, he was very informative. Harry also saw that I had small children and lots of bags, and he accommodated me by changing my room from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor since there are no elevators. It's really the small things that count! Thank you, Harry!!! Also, the room was very clean and had a pleasant clean smell. There is a small kitchenette area minus the stovetop/oven. The fridge is a normal size and there is a microwave. The only negative is it is in an area with a lot of traffic so you can hear the loud vehicles passing and revving their engines while sleeping. There is a Super Walmart up the road and a few fast food restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

The front desk IS 100% AWARE of the ROACH problem. They said they spray monthly, yet there are live German roaches roaming the rooms. Our room first didn’t show signs of roaches but there was crumbs, dirt, hairs, even toe nail clippings on the floors. Splatters of god knows what all over every wall in the room. I asked the front desk for a broom and cleaning materials to clean the room myself, they offered a new room and let me check it out first before we moved, the first thing I noticed was two dead roaches belly up on the floor of the room they were trying to move us into. Why would you offer me a new room to replace the dirty one I was already in with a room that was visibly with roaches? Why wasn’t the room checked before you sent me up there? $228 that we now have to wait 5-7 business days to be returned and here it is 11pm at night and we’re searching for another place to stay. Slum lords running this disgusting place KNOW it’s crawling with roaches as they’re continuing to rent out rooms. DON’T even reply that you’re “sorry for our mistakes”, you’re not. Or else you would CLOSE THE WHOLE HOTEL AND FIX THE ROACH INFESTATION!

This is hands down one of the best motels for an affordable price. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, all the equipment provided in/out of room(like guest laundry) are in functioning condition. The kitchenette is quite helpful for people with extended stay plans like me. Very friendly and helpful staff and employees. One best thing is front desk assistance is available 24/7. It is also dog friendly and has plenty of parking space.

So we needed a last minute hotel on a Friday night for us and two dogs. This place was one of the only places that allowed both of our dogs and didn’t charge an arm and a leg. I was very nervous about this being a “motel 6” and was scared about the rooms- the price was very reasonable and within our budget- and I was pleasantly surprised how clean the entire building including the rooms were. The location was a little sketchy but they can’t help that. The front desk were friendly and helpful.
