Studio 6 Belmont, CA – San Francisco - Redwood - Extended stay hotel in Belmont - 1101 Shoreway Rd, USA

The room was really not clean. The floor was weirdly sticky and slippery everywhere, like soap had been poured on it, moved around, and not wiped up? No idea what actually happened there, it was really gross. The blanket had black powder in various places, and there was a huge lump of hair in the bed. Brown stains on the furniture that I was able to wipe with a wet rag. I really love the motel 6 chain and happily accept some flaws for the great prices, but this was really disgusting. Front desk person was very nice, easy check in, and he gave us new blankets since the old one was dirty. Will be telling everyone to avoid though, and it has really made me question my trust of the brand, which I usually feel provides limited services but is always at least clean enough.

1. TERRIBLE ROOM CONDITION The room has a very fishy and sweat mixed smell since I checked in. There were food crumbs everywhere, extremely sticky and oily floor full of hair, walls with oil stains, oily, yellowed and stink curtain, when I wiped the chair the wipes were all BLACK. Since the first night I have gotten a severe allergic reaction from either the smell or the leftover pet dander. The room fridge doesn't work at all, which caused my $200 food to rot. The smell doesn't get any better, obviously the kitchen area (the walls surrounding the cooking top full of yellow oil stains) is not cleaned properly, the curtain and every furniture are also very dirty and smelly. The smell ruined all my clean suits and clothing! The bed mattress caves in very badly - the springs are broken - I am UNABLE to sleep well every night. There are many damages everywhere when I check in. Hotel Wi-Fi is TERRIBLE - it drops ALL THE TIME, I suspect the hotel has intended set up to make the wi-fi drop every a few minutes to save money. 2. HOUSEKEEPER IS EXTREMELY LAZY - ONLY COMES IN TO TAKE YOUR "TIPS" AND MORE?! The housekeeper is EXTREMELY lazy - she was supposed to clean 3 days a week, but whenever she comes in, she ONLY TAKES whatever money that's left on the desk. She never cleans anywhere, never restocks any supplies (toilet paper, clean towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap), just takes away my kitchen towels, leaving me with less towels. I had to personally ask another housekeeper to provide me all the supplies. I suspect that she's also looking for valuables to steal - luckily I didn't leave anything out. When I had the front desk force her to clean up, she came in with an extremely angry face and only a broom stick, and merely swiped the floor and told me that she was done. I see other housekeepers with mops and sanitizer sprays and stocks, mopping up the floor, wiping down furniture, making the bed, cleaning the sink and toilet, but she doesn't. This housekeeper is is a very LAZY and TRICKY woman, she needs to be fired! 3. TERRIBLE FRONT DESK SERVICE BY PHILIP The hotel front desk has a staff Philip, he made a mistake and gave me a twin bedroom though I had booked a Queen bedroom, and when I corrected him and told him to change a correct room for me, he directly yelled "You must stay at the room during the whole time!" and even threaten me he can refuse to serve! - Philip should be fired! I am the hotel guest who rightfully paid the money for his "service", but he is very rude, aggressive and lazy. He is mostly sitting at the counter and chatting with other front desk staff. He even told me to pick up someone else's leftover belongings from the floor, sticking out the palm of his hand, and repeatedly demanding me to pick up the item until I did. He refused to pull the baggage cart to the lobby and demanded me to fetch it myself - it took me a long time to find it since there are several buildings belonging to this motel. The Hotel Front desk clerks and House kippers are lack of training, rude and disrespectful to guests! Overall terrible service on all aspects - not worth any money.

Must be one of the Best and not so Expensive Studio available around in the Bay Area! You can have privacy, security, kitchen, microwave, kitchen towels, plates, silverwares, everything!! It was just missing detergent to wash the dishes and a sponge, other than that it was like my own place and it felt like almost home... I wish we could stay longer than a month! I'm sure that now a lot people would pay for the Studio if they could stay! Feels secure with the cameras and heavy doors, plus the people there are really nice! I've been there with my family and that was great for our stay. It was a good place to check it out. Ask for Studio! It's a better quality room compare to regular one if you enjoy to cook and have a bigger refrigerator ;)

Basic room with a comfy bed. Sparse decor but all you need for a good night's sleep. We didn't need the kitchen but it was fully functional and well equipped with a nice stove, good sized refrigerator, microwave and all the plate ware, pots and pans, etc that you need to cook. It was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the freeway. Super convenient location if you have a reason to be in Belmont. There is an awesome breakfast restaurant attached to the hotel. (Not your typical motel 6 kind of restaurant) That's a big plus!!! Great value. Great location. Its not beautiful but it's functional. Shower did drip all night.

I booked 83 nights from June at May and get confirmation. But when I drive two days to here, told me only able to stay 21 nights. And front desk is so nice to tell us they can provide the option to cancel our reservation.🤪

Staff very friendly, including the room service gals and laundry room team and ground keepers. Really like the location by Oracle's man made lake, and it's not a far walk to Belmont downtown. Many types of businesses in downtown, including Dollar Store, U-Haul, Public Storage, variety of food places, and easy off easy on 101 fwy. I like the studio rooms the best. Pet friendly too.

Toxic staff some of the worst service I've ever had they refused to clean my room. I had to make my own bed. Thank goodness the front desk gave me sheets.

A nice budget hotel in Silicon Valley with nice affordable rooms. Good walking distance to bus stops if you dont have a car. Jacuzzi wasnt hot, pool looks like it needed cleaning. Hobee's restaurant next door.
