Studio 6 Bakersfield, CA - Extended stay hotel in Bakersfield - 6141 Knudsen Dr, USA

This place is actually a good place to stay in a not so good neighborhood. The staff are some of the nicest, caring, as well as knowledgeable people I have encountered in all my stays. I like it here. Rooms are clean and spacious, I really feel at home here.

This hotel is maintained well, the rooms are clean and spacious, with nice beds and enough storage. The bathroom is clean and has been maintained. There is a small kitchen area in the room, with a fridge/freezer which was good but I didn't think it was clean. The coffee maker was clean either so we didn't use it. The cooker was worm out and the cupboards look like they were about to fall off. Customer service is very good, checking in and out was easy with no problems. We stopped at Bakersfield for a stopover to LA and we got a good price.

Booked room here as it was a halfway point to rest overnight on our drive back home, nice looking on the outside but horrific room on the first floor. Checking in was fine, first thing you see is "pool closed" on a near 100°F day, but didn't affect us for our purpose. Floor inside room was dirty/sticky and bathroom door took a Herculean effort to open only to see where the door lock was on the inside looked like either police kicked door open from inside the bathroom to get out or giant beavers gnawed their way out. We had ordered a pizza to consume for dinner, we ate one slice each, set the pizza box down on the counter by the kitchen sink and then a huge cockroach decided it wanted the rest of our pizza and climbed inside the box. Cockroach won the pizza and we went on unplanned fasting. So disgusted by everything that we only stayed a few hours and then immediately checked out and started our drive home even though extremely exhausted. DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE.

My experience at studio 6 was amazing room are very clean , Yolanda cleaning lady very sweet she made sure I was fine , she give me new towels and made sure I was fine she made my stay at studio 6 fantastic . I would come back again :)

I had a wonderful experience! Finally find pocket friendly rooms and neat and clean rooms. The services were excellent ! There has best option for non smoking individuals. Highly recommended to all . Thank you for the front desk staff .

Love this place. Location is a lil rough but it's like a diamond in a sac of marbles. Will repeat!

I stayed there last night I felt something crawling on me so I turn the light on I found two bed bugs in the mattress I immediately got a hold of the lady up front and she was very very rude to me so I asked to talk to the manager she said he will not be in till 7:00 a.m. in the morning so I talked to him when he got there at 7:00 and he was just as rude as the lady at the front desk I did not get my money back had to top it off they kept my deposit trust and Believe it will be hearing for me and my lawyer I will never stay there again I do not like bed bugs crawling on me

I never write reviews.. But Omg!! This place right here is disgusting!! The motel rents the rooms out regardless of the condition that it's in.. Why would you do that studio 6? You don't think about the children? What are you guys planning to do with all the dog poop in the back?? Why don't you guys put covers on the electrical outlets? What about the knobs on the dressers?? Or the mold growing in the restrooms?? Your staff should be ashamed of themselves.. Corporate needs to step in and she how there company is being destroyed by dirty employees..
