Friendly staff, generous meat on the jumbo chopped beef sandwiches. Very good quality of meat. Husband and I were both pleased with our food. I liked the spicy sauce on my sandwich. Clean nice dining room. Good parking lot. Easy in and out. Would definitely go there again.

Stubby’s is always are go to for BBQ! The folks there are always friendly, the food is always good, and the service is top notch! Deviled eggs and peach cobbler are truly like Momma makes it. Highly recommend!

Overall, my experience at Stubby's was pretty good. However, I live in the KC area, so I am extremely picky about my BBQ. My wife and I had just left the horse races and saw Stubby's across the street, so we decided to give it a try. (I am always up for trying a new BBQ joint) I had the rib plate dinner, and my wife had a loaded spud. The ribs had a good smoky flavor, but the meat was a kind of tough, and the meat didn't fall off the bone. The BBQ sauce was good if you like a sweeter sauce. The baked beans were OK, they seemed like they were just barely doctored up pork and beans. The coleslaw to me was the worst part of the meal, it was just shredded cabbage with a watered down tasteless sauce. My wife, on the other hand, said her potato was excellent. I must admit it looked pretty fantastic. Like I said, I am very picky, and I have very high standards when it comes to BBQ.

Our first time at Stubby's. My wife and I ordered the Supreme Potato with pulled pork and brisket . The meal was delicious ! Staff is very friendly and shared a few laughs with them.

The atmosphere is great. My wife and I are divided on the food, I had the combo plate and for the most part the food was good but the she didn’t enjoy hers thought it was dry. So try it for yourself and decide if it good or not. As for portions it was the best way to much food.

I just visited Stubby's for the first time. Initially, I had my mouth fixed for McClard's, but since they were, like so many businesses in Hot Springs that are, inexplicably, closed on Mondays, I set out to find another BBQ joint to scratch my brisket itch. When I walked in, the place smelled like Heaven, with that rich smoky scent one expects in a good BBQ spot. The restaurant was clean, with a classic southern comfort atmosphere, and the service was fantastic. My sandwich came with a more than generous serving of meat, and when I sat down to eat, the experience went south immediately. I asked for sauce on the sandwich, and regretted that decision with the first bite. I do not like sweet BBQ sauces, and Stubby's tasted like someone dumped a whole bag of sugar into the mix. The meat itself was tender, with a nice smokey finish, and for that reason I was able to finish my sandwich, but lord almighty that was the sweetest (not in a good way) sauce I have ever tasted. If you like sweet sauce, Stubby's won't disappoint you. If, like me, you prefer your BBQ sauces more smoky and spicy, this will not be your ideal experience.

Fantastic BBQ. I got the Supreme Stuffed potato and it was delicious. Their peach cobbler had a bread pudding kind of texture and style to it and it is amazing.

Great spot across from Oaklawn Gaming. The staff was extremely nice. They explained the menu options to our group and gave great recommendations. The half chicken was delicious. My group said the bbq potatoes, pork sandwich and eggs were good. We will be back. Lola is a gem...........
