This place is so weird, don’t come here. In the bed there’s tiny bugs, Dead spiders in the bathroom, there’s a blood stains in the bedsheets, and there’s a saliva in the couch. I hate this place, don’t never come do this place there’s other best hotels to stay not like this hotel.
I've stayed here multiple times because the rates are so reasonable BUT..... only the first visit was a good one. We got a great room- very spacious and had no issues. The next stay....we got a one king bed "suite". The room was big but it was just empty space. The"king bed" was definitely a standard (not even a queen), our TV didn't work and no one ever came up to fix it. Worst of all....THE ROACHES.....SO MANY ROACHES. ROACHES IN THE COMMUNAL MICROWAVES, ROACHES IN THE FRIDGE, ROACHES GOT INSIDE MY PURSE.....(NO, THERE WAS NO FOOD IN MY PURSE). I had to ask the cleaning lady for roach spray. When I left the guy at the front desk acted surprised that I wanted my $20 deposit back which they make u pay for the key.
Oh. Almost forgot. The lovely orange condom we found between the bed and the side table was a nice touch. 👌🏽
The area is sketchy. The building exterior looks rather stark. Lobby not much better. They are doing a lot of work and refurbishment. Rooms are good. Kept clean by hard working housekeeping. Modern plumbing and electrical fixtures. Good size tv. Comfy bed. Staff is courteous and helpful. It's fine for the price. I spent nine days and would be glad to stay again.
The room was completely infested with cockroaches.|When I got to the hotel, they asked me to wait for 15 minutes the time that they make a room available for me. Once i got into the room, there was a strong smell of chemicals as though someone tried to disinfect the place.|I first noticed on wall that there were dead roaches probably from someone who stayed there, and kills a few, and the cleaner didn't notice them.|I had to open the windows to let the chemical smell come out, then I proceeded to settle down. I turned off the lights and started working on my computer, and within an hour, roaches started climbing all over me. At first I didn't think they were bugs, so I just brushed them off.. when I realized what it was, i jumped out of the bed and turned the light on.|The floor was completely covered with bugs. I put my feet in my shoes only to realize that my shoes too had been infested with roaches. I mean when I say the floor was covered, it's not an understatement. It was covered with roaches. When turned the light on, most of them ran to hide under the bed, and the mini fridge that was on the side.|I got out of there and went to the reception to tell them I couldn't sleep in there. They told me they would speak with their owner and refund me the payment.|Well, I just got off the phone with one of the receptionists for the n-th time, and as the other ones said 4 days ago, they need to talk to their owner to reimburse what they charged me, and I just got yelled at, and told that if I spent more than 5 hours in the room, no matter what happened in there, they wouldn’t reimburse me. that they will check the cameras to see how long i stayed before they make a decision.|Needless to say that I will find a way to report this to health services. So they'd better remodel their hotel before an inspection is performed in the coming days. It just may cost them more than the $120 they keep giving me the run around with.|
Although the building is old and there are some homeless people around, the rooms are spacious and relatively clean. When I checked in, the professional front desk staff provided me with a lot of help, making me feel like I had met old friends. There's nothing that could have brightened my mood more than this.
So let me start by saying the staff, wonderful nice people!!! Only reason they get 2 stars. First time staying, so I arrived and was given a key for a room that was so strong of roach spray and pesticides! Unbearable! Immediately let the staff know. So they give me a different room. This one, no smell but not as bright and open as the first room. So I take it of course because I can breathe!!! Only to go bring my belongings from the car to find the baby roaches playing in the tub!! So now I'm like ok I see why it reeks of roach spray. WARNING... DONT touch the microwave.!!! INFESTED with roaches. I was highly upset and disturbed by this, however I took my cold food back to my fridge and went to bed. Oh .... the room didn't come with the remote, you have to go ask for one! And if you are two People in one room, it's only one pillow. Overall stay was a 3. Let me mention they are renovating!!! Stop renovating and start a fumigation!!! This whole building needs a bomb!!! Please get the roaches out!!!!! Thanks
The employees make this hotel a stand out among its budget friendly peers - okay - neighborhood roach motel/sketch magnets.
All put downs aside, these employees show a genuine sense of pride and dedication to good guest services and friendly hospitality, no matter who comes in or out. A welcome change from previous frontline employees here.
Despite the "where there's one there's a thousand", creepy crawly invaders coming out of the depths of these old interiors and bathroom areas, the rooms are well kept, clean and freshened well enough that you shrug it off as getting what you paid for. That being said, the roach issue is problematic and needs to be dealt with.
So far, thumbs up to no crazy cash deposits (if any at all) or the ever-demeaning no-guest policy (ridiculous) - possibly due to renovation noise and dusty drywall construction. Yes, it's being spruced up.
The lobby is now kept open and inviting all hours of the day which is convenient for the late night options that draw people to an overnight downtown. This means accessible front desk associates standing guard and available nearly every minute, from what I can tell. These are not the borderline thugs and pitbulls I experienced previously here, or at many other LA businesses that unleash them on customers every minute of the day.
Definitely a decent value - and not a totally regrettable choice whatsoever for a downtown Los Angeles budget stay. Well done.
Positive: nothing it was the worst stay ever there is no parking you have to pay $10 per night and the parking lot is super small its overcrowded with cars you can barely move.. the homeless is surrounded and screaming at like 4 am outside couldnt sleep Negative: I didnt feel safe through the whole night doors keep slamming the hotels smelled like cigarettes it was the worst night of my life. Negative: ""
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and the bedding was incredibly comfy! Loved the free coffee & pastries each morning. If you have a car, the secure parking is so worth it & made us fee

I was amazed by the authentic Japanese cuisine at UKA, and being Japanese myself, I believe this restaurant truly captures the essence of our culinary heritage. The chefs' attention to detail brought out flavors that transcended mere appearance, leav

I can't speak more highly of this amazing establishment. My friends and I came hungry and were treated to some of the most authentic and delicious plant-based / cruelty-free dishes. I ordered a little assortment and each one became my favorite!

Valentina and Helen are absolutely wonderful trainers. They always go out of their way to help everybody out: always giving adjustments to improve posture and performance. I always book a session when one of them is there. They also play great music.
My time at this gym has been nothing short of exceptional! I recently hit my 1 year anniversary and am proud to be a member of CrossFit Echo Park. At first I was hesitant about joining CrossFit in general due to thinking it was just a bunch of rugged
