Awesome gym with everything you could ask for in terms of equipment. They’re very family oriented and responsive to member concerns. I sometimes struggle with social interactions in new environments, but I felt very comfortable during my transition into training here and have had nothing but great interactions with the owner and members.
I highly recommend this gym to anybody and everybody! Whether you’re new to lifting or prepping for a meet/competition, this is your gym! Has amazing equipment, and the owner and trainers are VERY knowledgeable and kind! They care for their clients and members with the utmost respect. Every time I’ve visited, they’ve treated me like I was family! The atmosphere and embodiment of the gym definitely reflects the character of the people there! If you’re ever in WNC, you’ve GOT to train at this gym! You won’t regret it and can thank me later.
Awesome gym and community. It’s always clean. I initially joined during Covid when other commercial gyms had shorter hours. Strong Hand was always clean and open 24/7. As a first responder with a crazy schedule this was a huge plus for me! I’ve always felt safe no matter what time I walk in the gym. Proud to be a member of this place and to be able to support a local family business. Ian the owner is one of the nicest dudes I have come across and has a lot of pride in this place and it definitely shows!
