Strawberry Creek Inn - Motel in Idyllwild-Pine Cove - 26370 CA-243, USA

Husband and I stayed there recently, early March, and we loved our themed Santa Fe room. It was cozy and had a nice sky light above our bed to gaze at stars. It was also just outside of the main town, so it was nice and quiet. Water running through the Strawberry Creek just down the hill from our room. The inn was cool, would like to explore that more when the place is not under construction. We walked to the nearest cantina down the street and had really good food and played some pool. Overall very happy with our stayed. Would be interested to know how busy it is during on season warmer months.

We stayed at the Strawberry Inn for one night. The Inn recently changed ownership and is not a bed and breakfast so no breakfast is provided. We had a room that was recently remodled and it was a nice room. There was a jucuzzi tub, spearate shower, microwave and plenty of room. The only negative is the room needed a refridgerator. There is a shared patio that overlooks the creek in the back of the hotel. There is a path that travels along the creek to the town center. We would stay here again.

Hidden gem and reasonably priced. I stumbled onto this quaint, little cabin while searching (late notice) for a place to stay in Idy so Hubby, Mom, and I could meetup with my cousin and her family over Memorial Day weekend. We were only staying Saturday night and most places required a 2 night minimum. Apparently, the management had just released it for one night stays when I went to book. Lucky us! Speaking of management, inn host Tanesha was just as sweet as could be and gave us a call when the cabin was ready. We checked in early which was good because my 82 yr old mom needed to rest from our walkabout. Easy access for her with first floor Murphy bed made her stay enjoyable. We headed to the upstairs loft with jacuzzi tub and second floor bathroom. Everything is well thought out with full kitchen, a dining area that sits six, two large decks, one covered and one open, both looking out to the forest with bubbling creek sounds. Truly idyllic place in Idyllwild.

The Strawberry Creek Inn made our weekend Idyllwild escape delightful and we cannot wait to return! The inn itself is super charming and it begs you to relax and lounge in one of the many rooms. I found myself reading for hours in the quaint reading room. ||Our breakfast was delicious and the friendly host/inn keeper shared many details of the meal and its ingredients. ||Speaking of the inn keeper, Nathan was super friendly and knowledgeable. If we had more time we'd love to learn more about the beautiful property and history of the building. ||See you soon Strawberry Creek Inn!

We had a lovely two night stay! Nathan, our host, was gracious and accommodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Fresh made breakfast was delicious. 2-3 minute drive to town or walk along Strawberry Creek to get there. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place. Rachel was amazing and super helpful. I'm coming back here. I was worried when there was no wifi like advertised, but after one night here, I didn't care about the wifi or TV. So relaxing and beautiful.

My husband and I have been going to the Strawberry Creek in for about six years. We've pre, during, and post pandemic. We received the same excellent service, welcoming environment, and clean rooms every trip. If you're a couple wanting to celebrate an anniversary, young parents wanting a quiet weekend away, and want to be close to fantastic food, easy trails, and a tranquil setting, the Strawberry Creek in is the place for you.
