Stratton Creek Inn - Hotel in Newfield - 1642 W Danby Rd, USA

Stratton Creek Inn is a very charming, historic home-turned-B&B. The rooms were spacious and tasteful. We especially loved our breakfast, chatting to Terri, the innkeeper, and then reading in the lounge! One thing I would recommend is putting a floor lamp in the room (we booked Frank), next to the mirror, as it’s too bright with the ceiling lamp on but a little too dark with just the bedside lamps.

Loved the Stratton Inn, spotlessly clean, beautiful, modern yet charming place. Rooms and bath were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and Terry the inn keeper was very helpful and friendly. We did a wine tour with Wade of Screech Owl Tours - they picked up/dropped off at the Inn, also highly recommended! Would definitely stay at The Stratton Inn again!

I booked the Stratton Creek Inn for a get away for my wife and myself to celebrate her birthday. It is a beautiful clean quiet and peaceful accommodation that gets you away from the noise and busyness of an 'in town' hotel but close enough to the hiking and other attractions that the Finger Lakes district has to offer. Very friendly and informative inn keepers that were able to answer our questions about things to do in the area. Two thumbs up! I would definitely stay here again next time we come to visit and explore this very beautiful part of New York State.

A wonderful stay! Comfy bed, beautiful furnishings, delicious breakfast and lots of thoughtful details. We were a little concerned about a remote location when we booked, then found the Inn easy to find and a pleasant drive from Corning while being even closer to beautiful Ithaca. Its quiet location and lovely grounds provided peace and tranquility. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at the Stratton Creek Inn. Our room was lovely, incredibly clean and comfortable. The inn was charming and beautifully restored. And we were so surprised and impressed by the delicious breakfast which was presented so beautifully. We're so thrilled we happened upon the Stratton Creek Inn for a short anniversary getaway.

The Stratton Creek Inn is a lovely place. The converted Victorian home is gorgeous, perfectly maintained and scrumptiously clean. Each room is unique, quiet, private, and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious including home made goodies! The Innkeepers are genuinely kind, helpful and personable. The Inn is located about 5 mins from Ithaca and 10 mins from Cornell. Definitely worth the stay and we will look forward to our next visit!

There aren’t enough stars to award to the Stratton creek inn! This is our second time in two months visiting and we look forward to more. It’s a great location( just minutes from Ithaca) but it’s so tranquil and peaceful.We’ve stayed in “Frank “and “Della “suites so far and both were outstanding! Next time we’re trying out “Mattie”! But the best of all is the wonderful innkeepers! Every need is met before we even thought of it. Truly a great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay. With a broken ankle, the Jacuzzi was a godsend and then, our host graciously provided me with epsom salts. So thoughtful! My husband and I appreciated a refrigerator full of water, fresh flowers, and a healthy breakfast.. Thank you!
