Strat's - Fast food restaurant in Villa Park - 231 E N Ave, USA

Ample parking and such a flashback to that good ol greasy spoon best damn food place everrrrr. The trinkets around the place help set me back to my younger years. The hot dogs, Hamburgers, fish sandwiches, and best French fries anywhere. The grilled cheese sandwich looks amazing on that Texas toast. Will try next time. I highly recommend going here yall. Pop in and have your in flashback.

This was the 1st time I've ordered food from Strat's and that is because I was searching for ice cream places on Grub Hub and Strat's came up. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious and one of a kind. It is kind of really pricey especially for the portion they give you, but it is very delicious and tastes very homemade! I can't speak for the atmosphere because like I said I ordered via Grub Hub. Looking at the photos though it reminds me of a Teddy's Red Hots (if anyone knows what that is).

Cool place! We've tried the Polish Sausage Maxwell Style, Steak Sandwich, Pastrami Sandwich, Cheeseburgers... All good.

This place is wicked fun with all kinds of neat old tech kids can play with and signage from the 50s and a hopping drive in atmosphere. Oh, and the food is surprisingly good for such a place and yet reasonably priced. You can tell that the ingredients are obviously fresh. Staff was super friendly. Our boys can't wait to return!

I haven't been here in years and I have to say it is not what I remembered. Food was ok. I ordered the ribeye sandwich which they are apparently known for and I remember it being better. It was average and I have had better ones at different restaurants with better quality meat. I do have to say they finally learned how to cook their fresh cut fries and we got a huge portion. They used to be so mushy and greasy. The onion rings tasted kind of like fish. The inside is full of like we'll call it antique treasures but it seems like there's so much that it's overwhelming and now just like a hoarder nightmare. They were playing Christmas music in February and still hadn't taken down their decorations. I knew what I wanted to order and what should have been a maybe 3 minute transaction ended up taking 10 minutes because the cashier kept reading my order back wrong.

Went through the take-out window. Ordered "three Duke Dogs - two with everything and one with no onions or peppers." Got home and discovered three with no onions or peppers. I usually wouldn't complain/comment about something like this but it isn't the first time that Strat's got the order wrong.

Great vibe. Can spend quite some time just looking at all the antiques! Food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Will be back.
