This was my go to store but do to the influx of illegals living in the can return and entryway I don't feel safe at this location. In addition with how expensive this store is and I often have to bag my own groceries I have been going to market basket. I know you can't control the expense but you can control the homeless people loitering, urinating in bottles, smelling up the area.and making people uncomfortable. Management is responsible for the safety of their staff and customers which is being overlooked. I am not alone in my observations and you are losing a lot of customers due to safety. You can do better.
So I’m very disappointed with the produce department a new manager I believe she’s a female couldn’t catch her name because she didn’t have one on first of all. I asked the produce manager for squash when she told me she didn’t have any without even looking. I didn’t wanna believe her because she was rude so I asked another employee and he went to check and he said we did have it. Awful service and you wonder why ppl shop elsewhere. StopShop customer service has gone down hill for years especially that location. Awful service lately.
Probably the only Stop & Shop in a 50 mile radius where you can get cold cuts sliced correctly! I come from Arlington Heights because Dennis Acari and his crew are the best. He custom slices, stacks, and wraps them perfectly every single time. Mostly other S&S stores cannot. 👍👍
I went in there today and bought some groceries and tried to get cash back; when I went to the customer service to process a return to get cash back for the items I bought, the employee told me she can’t help and said next. Felt a little bit of racism in 2024. Stay away from this Somerville location.
Customer service wise, they suck! I have an e-gift card with nearly $100 on it! I literally used it at another Stop & Shop YESTERDAY! The only issue was that it needed to be entered manually, but WORKS AND WAS ACCEPTED! Today, the easily irritated, short-staffed group of employees “helping” insisted that their specific location doesn’t take non-physical gift cards as of yesterday, miraculously. The initial excuse was that my screen was too dark to scan it, (I have a privacy screen on🙄), then it was because I provided a screenshot… Once I logged in and updated the balance of the card, “we don’t do that (type it in manually)”…. This sounds like a lack of effort to provide great customer service and PURE LAZINESS. Coming from a retail space, where I actually managed and supervised for several years…. I know that these POS systems are connected to software that’s more intuitive now than they have ever been! I’m headed to Star Market with Cash! I rather go back to the Stop and Shop that can handle irregular situations and deliver WAY better service!
They are definitely ready for Valentine’s Day. I am not so sure if they are as much ready in salad’s section
They did not sell UNO Disney 100 card games that contain one holofoil collectible card. Perfect for waiting for the 95 bus to Sullivan station.
I bought it two days ago, this is the meat they sell. Don't buy meat, chicken products
When COVID came to Boston in March 2020 this location was already setting up self-checkout and did not require me to use their paper bags, which cemented it as my favorite whole foods in the area. It is simultaneously just large and small enough to f
Khadijah was fantastic!! I love this little location. There is a Starbucks inside, and the woman who works there mentioned above is a breath of fresh air. I will definitely be back.
Amazing! I went here with my friend to pick up an assortment of baked goods. The space is small but we got there early Saturday morning and the line wasn't bad at all (and it moved pretty fast). The atmosphere was nice and warm, it smelled SO good in
Checked out Yego Coffee because I was in the area and have been enjoying cafe-hopping lately. There is plenty of street parking, and the inside is bright with high ceilings and a few tables. There were a few people on a Friday morning. Service was fr
Really recommend this place, all the take away was really good! The carne asada dinner was awesome, the Birria tacos had a generous service and great flavor. The tortillas on the tacos was different than what I have had at other places but was great
Finding CycleBar is one of my highlights of 2023! I joined a little under one year ago and am approaching 100 classes now. All of the staff members are super welcoming and really make an effort to get to know both frequent and newer riders. They prov
I had a long work day and was looking for a way to celebrate and enjoy a festive Japanese meal. I ordered from the prefab menu that gave me samplings of various dishes so we're absolutely delicious. I also really enjoyed the sake cart that they wheel
Absolutely obsessed with these sandwiches! The bread is out of this world, always fresh and made from scratch. Every ingredient is local and and chosen with great care. Definitely check this place out for lunch next time youâre in Davis!
Cafe Rustica is a lovely european cafe off of Beacon Street. It fits nice with the local homes and business- sitting right beside a nice laundromat and near the local bike shop. The service is warm and welcoming, the owners are happier to double chec
The absolute Best Diner Experience! The food was exceptional! We met Dave, who told us all about the history of the Diner! Built in 1929, and full if character. Love it! We came with friends from Australia, Dubai, and France. The feeling was una
