Stop & Shop - Grocery store in Clifton - 1189 Broad St, USA

Really liked this store and might visit often going forward. Very competitive prices and tons of options to choose from . The produce aisle is huge and you have very good quality produce. I loved their flower section it’s the best.. they have a deli too for packing sandwiches or eggs. They have lots of international foods too like desi ghee, rice , lentils etc. the staff was super helpful and the lady at checkout helped me with the code so I got the discount.

Special shout out to Eve from the bakery. She made us a fabulous cake. This is our second experience with Eve; her warm disposition and positive attitude has made the process wonderful. We are delighted that the cake is kosher certified and suits our needs perfectly. All the staff I’ve interacted with from this store have been more than pleasant and polite.

Stop and Shop got a face-lift! The new look is mdern, cleaner and more spacious. I notice they also carried more variety than before the store remodel. On average, I think their items are more pricey co.pared to Shop Rite. However, when they do have a sale, it can be quite a good deal. Parking is large but can be busy.

Stopped to grab a few things with my daughter. We enjoyed checking out the international food section and got some stuff. Self checkout sucked. We waited for assistance for about 5 minutes and then took our stuff to a regular checkout. Always too expensive at the stop and shop tho.

Stop & Shop is my favorite grocery store! They offer a great variety of fresh produce, and their aisles are well-organized, making shopping a breeze. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

This location is going over a major remodeling and is looking great. More choices, very clean, a separate area for people that use the scanners to ring up merchandise themselves. They also will shop for you and you can pick it up at the curb. I absolutely love all the upgrades to the store. The florist section has great ready to go bouquets that are very reasonably priced and do not seem to die quickly at all. Store also has a pharmacy and there is a PNC bank branch inside. UPDATE 4/2/22: The availability of certain things is non existent. It is really not clear to me why some things like distilled water, iced coffee , complexly random items are so difficult to come by. Obviously this isn’t a knock on Stop n Shop because may stores are like this due to supply chain problems but I feel like I notice it more at Stop n Shop. I don’t know if someone that handles Stop-n-Shop’s social media, but the address of this particular location does not look like the location of the Stop-n-Shop that I previously reviewed. When looking for a business , the photo of the outside helps when the correct location is used with the actual address.

I used to love this location but it's awful now! Like the remodel is great the layout is much better I could even be okay with the shelves being higher but the stuff then stacked on top of the higher shelves is horendous!!!!! Like it looks super tacky and reminds me of an off brand Kmart... but it is also super gross and claustrophobic too. Like why go with a sleek cool remodel for the whole store and then absolutely ruin it by stacking stuff up on top of the shelves?!?!

Updating review- To expensive nowadays. I have been visiting this store at least once in a week since 2017. So far very good experience. 1. Good parking area. 2. Enough carts available. Trolly any hand held. 3. Fruits 🍎 🍌 🥭 🍊 mostly fresh. 4. Vegetables 🥦 🥕 mostly fresh. 5. Baby 👶 foods are mostly available. 6. Milk and Juices are available in varieties. 7. Employees are good and helpful. 8.Coinstar machine available. 9. Pharmacy is cheaper than RiteAid. 10. I like self checkout.
