Stonewood Grill & Tavern - American restaurant in Ormond Beach - 100 S Atlantic Ave, USA

Went to the Stonewood for happy hour Thursday. Good thing we got there early because by 4:20 that place was packed. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful meal and time. We enjoyed drink specials, appetizers, and a meal. Jamie and Scott provided fast and consistent service to a full bar. I highly recommend the Buffalo shrimp and Stone Bits appetizers! Get there early or be ready to wait!

Atmosphere is excellent, good selection superb. Catch happy hour at 4pm. The prices are a surprise on the good size. The poke bowl I had was full of tuna. Try the bourbon burger!

Got a Stonewoods coupon for Christmas. Time to use it. I had the Manhatten Surf & Turf special. It was very good. Steak was perfectly done medium rare, and the shrimp were grilled and seasoned very nicely as well. My wife had the 16oz prime rib. They have an option to have some extra seasoning added to both sides and then have that seared. Gotta tell ya, that was one of the best slices of prime rib she (and I) have ever had. Definitely recommend that. 👌 Our server, Kylie, took extremely good care of us. Attentive but not obtrusive. Refills of drinks appeared magically. Couldn't ask for a better night out.

I had to come and write a review, because this restaurant was our absolute highlight of our Daytona Beach trip! Our dining experience was just so good, that we came back to eat there a second time the following night. We strongly suggest the Chicken Wings as appetizers (with the Asian sauce!! They were maybe some of the best I've ever had), the Cedar Plank Salmon, and the Chocolate Bread Pudding for dessert. (I honestly didn't think I had room for dessert, but we finished the entire pudding. It was unreal how good it was). But the cherry on the cake was the service provided by our incredible waiter Mike. He made both of our nights unique and perfect! He gave us great insights and suggestions, and even split our salmon in two different plates, since we were sharing. Those little gestures were extremely thoughtful and as we told him : " If we come back to Daytona Beach in the future, it will be for this restaurant alone! " Cheers!

Food had absolutely no flavor, French onion soup was so bland, chicken was cold. Server Erin was awesome that’s why we gave two stars. As a business owner I understand this could happen but when you claim you have a chef cooking the food we expect great food

Stonewood Grill is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. My husband and I love coming here so much for a nice dinner for two. This location in particular is our favorite. We have never had anything less than a perfect meal and experience. Every single thing we have ever tried on the menu has been nothing less than excellent. It has such a great vibe and the service is always stellar.

We happened upon Stonewood via a search for good steakhouses in Ormond Beach. We were pleasantly surprised first by the atmosphere, then the friendly and attentive service we received from our server, Chris King. Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending dishes from the fantastic menu. We chose the mild wings, 2 ribeyes with loaded baked potatoes, and took home a slice of orange cake and warm bread pudding. Everything, and I mean everything, was DELICIOUS. We can’t wait to come back to Stonewood and have Chris take care of us again!
