Tucked into a city, this is a great place to see nature. I was surrounded by deer the morning I was there. As far as following the battle, it's not the easiest place to do so. If you have knowledge of the battle then what you see and walk/drive to would make some sense. There are very few plaques and almost no monuments. The visitor center is nice and the rangers there are very knowledgeable. Having the natl. Park app helps to follow along some of the high points that are preserved within the park.
This park is awesome. Unfortunately, the history behind it is not, but the presentation of the history and historical facts at the time is just great. It is also horrifying at times to realize what those soldiers went through. I highly recommend taking in the whole park. It is truly an experience. The slaughter pen is unbelievable, especially when you realize the horrifying battle that occurred there. The folks at the visitor center were extremely helpful and friendly. Do not miss out on this park for sure if you are in the area.
We did the booklets for junior rangers- ages 13-6 and it was fun. The books will be updated to the park for better outlining they stated, as it was a bit all over the place where to find the clues. The staff were super friendly & engaging. We absorbed history & discussed many aspects of war and the struggles as well as that each longed for home. They had audio to listen to writings. The only downfall we had was the field being sprayed where the tombstones were and figuring how to maneuver out without inhaling or getting on shoes. Cross walks have buttons you press to alert passing street to different portions to the park. Very clean bathrooms and great gift shop. Highly recommend the park.
I appreciated that it was possible to visit this despite not having a lot of time. I was able to complete the visitor center and 5 of the outdoor sites in about 1.5 hours. The rock formations in the Slaughter Pen were interesting.
It was an amazing experience walking the trails of this Battleground and learning its history via the visitor's center and the National Parks employees.
Nice place to take the kids to learn a little history 😁 the museum admission is free love national parks for that 🧡
Just stumbled onto this on our trip as we were making a stop in Murfeesboro and had some downtime to be able to visit this battlefield. Neat little battlefield that is very accessible to walk around, drive to and spend an easy 1-2 hours here tops. You will not be spending hours and hours here to see everything but for a a battlefield I didn't know exist before visiting, it was worth a little detour to get out and stretch our legs.
We took part in the guided tour and the guide was very patient with the group while holding our attention. The display in the visitor centre and the short video were informative - I wish I saw the video first, before the tour, but the exhibits made more sense after the tour.

This playarea is pretty spacious and relatively new one. The slides are pretty interesting for kids of all ages. The number of slides are also more. The area has at least 10 benches for accompanying parents to rest and keep a watch out for their kids
Great soccer complex! Plenty of parking. A mix of astro turf and grass fields as well as indoor fields. Definitely recommend playing here if you have a tournament.
About two miles of additional hiking trail and improvements to an equestrian trail were dedicated today at the Walter Hill Trailhead on the North Murfreesboro Greenway. The trail follows the East Fork Stones River on the northeast side of Murfreesbor

My Boro gym for three years, and it's the best place for me to train my mind, body, and soul here. Everyone is nice, especially Professor Gabe, and his staff are second to none in training when it comes to students.
Professor Mike is an amazing individual. He taught my son how to be a good person and how to think and use his head. All while learning BJJ. His is amazing with all of the kids. My son loved every single class he attended with Professor Mike. Great a
A very great atmosphere for studying/relaxing while drinking great coffee. The coffee and waffles are extremely great, but would only come for a light brunch. Although there are savory dishes it is not many. Regardless, still a great place to study,
I have been a member at Ridenour since 2019 and its the best place around to rehearse. Very clean and professional. The staff are wonderful to work with, and you can't beat their prices. I will never go anywhere else that is for sure.
We purchased a membership for our son in the Murfreesboro TN Location. The main trainer Ms Lauren is really great. Shes seems very experienced and always challenges the students and switches up the routines. In addition there is always weekly motivat
