Interesting “roadside” attraction. Read the story of how it was made.
This was a neat scaled down replica of Stonehenge located in Rolla,MO. The university did a great job creating this. I enjoyed reading all the various plaques describing what the shadows caused by the sun meant.
Nice little attraction. The only thing is parking is very limited
Cool little place...the feel would be better if it was away from traffic a bit, but definitely still real neat.
Half-scale partial reconstruction of the final stage of Stonehenge. Nicely explained by bronze plaques placed to describe the function of each set of sarsen stones. Mostly mark sunrises and sunsets at the equinoxes and solstices, plus a solar analemma. Very nice!
Okay dude straight up this was worth the whole trip to Branson! I mean this is like 30 minutes away but I was still amazing! So much history so if youre a buff on the subject this is a definite must see! That staff was so friendly and helpful they made the experience even better then it already would be. I love see nature and the wild things it does but having the history behind it makes it so much more enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone In the area or not! I've only been in case a few times I've never been anything like this this was this was amazing and I will definitely be back to do it again one day! I have to Thank the whole crew for doing such a stellar job!
Very very interesting place. I loved it. They also have a weather station service next to it.
Nice display but parking I'd very limited, let wife out she looked I drove around and came back yo pick her up.
This place continues to get better with time. Was here years ago I'm thinking 2014 maybe 2018 and it continues to improve and stay with the times. It has big beds and is for men and women. Bailey assisted me today and was able to find my information
This rather new RV park was conveniently located near the interstate and offered spacious pull through and back in sites. We stopped for one night on our way to Texas. It was cold night down into the high 20âs and we needed a FHU site to keep our
Absolutely adorable (and DELICIOUS) authentic ice cream and soda shop in downtown Rolla! They have delicious (rotating) flavors, incredible sundaes, and traditional floats, phosphates, and sodas. My younger kids love the candy shop section including
This is literally my favortie place to go during the summer. I come here at least 3 times a week with my friends or family. Definitely recommend! There are many flavors, I have never gotten one that I didn't like. The prices are reasonable and worth
I moved to Missouri 5 1/2 years ago. There is so much to see and experience. The history here is amazing. I live next to the Mark Twain National Forrest. I love the fact that there are so many cave systems here. The waterways are amazing. Ge
