Stiles Inn - Motel in Statesboro - 453 S Main St, USA

Folks.... do I really need to fill this out? 50 dollars a night. Astounding price for the location. There are so many awesome things within walking distance. But you know darn well what you're paying for before you walk in. Everyone is so nice, but this place needs some actual money dumped into it. But hey, if you want a cheap room to crash out in, this is it.

Guy told my girlfriend the room would be 250$ plus tax a week and first charge was for 340$…..tax is 90$ now?! Moved us with no warning and didn’t even ask after just one day. Now we have two single beds and we are a couple. The wifi now won’t stay on even enough to watch Netflix. Pay the extra bucks and go anywhere else this place is a rip off. Current resident of room till end of week.

This is an older clean property, someone could use a paint brush and go a long way to making this property a lot nicer, but worth a stay. Don't let first appearance of this older property fool you. Very close to Georgia Southern University. I stayed here for a week on business, Very nice mature couple runs the property. Quiet and clean rooms and grounds. My room had 2 beds, dining table, couch, separate vanity and closet area, and separate bathroom with full tub. The housekeeping did a great job with service daily. (although I never saw them, I knew they were there daily) Just a well run motel offering a clean uneventful stay. If I am in need of temporary housing again in this town, I will stay here again. I am not affiliated with any person at this motel.

Terrible place. We work with a company who uses this hotel on a regular basis for people to stay. The owner is a big jerk. Unreasonable. Was spending tons of money with them. But the owner couldn't refund our companies money or give a room we had prepaid for a week to another person from our company. He was rude and says he didn't care. So he just lost some business with our company. He spoke over me and I couldn't even get a word in. Don't stay here. He rips off people

I’ve never stayed here, but it comes across as one of those places where someone might go to relapse or for sexual favors. Expensive too

Came from out of town, was very tired and wanted to lay down for a little while. This was the closest hotel on the road that had vacancies at the time so my husband and I went in and paid for the room. Went to the room to find roaches crawling everywhere, covers had marks and stains on them, room had mildew and mold in it as soon as we opened the door it hit us right in the face. Went back to let the employee know and he refused to give us a refund. Then offered another room which was in the same damn condition with the same odors. We called the police to see if we could get the situation resolved, they looked at the room and also agreed that the room was not up to par to stay in. He then offered to give us the best suite on the property, but still wasn't up to par to me or my husband and then he wanted some more money for the suit. Please, if you see this hotel. Run, run, run. Do not even look that way. It deserves no stars at all.

Very rude, racist employees ,and manager. The room smelled horrible you could tell they dont clean. All we did was walk in the room and walk out and they refused on giving us a refund. Make sure you can handle the smell before you give them your money 0 out of 5

Horrible there is bed bugs and roaches the rooms smell horrible not clean towels are all stained and dirty sheets are stained and filthy. Managers are very rude and nasty not only to there customers but there employees. I witnessed them refusing to pay ome of there employees for 2 weeks work bc she quit. The rooms have mold in them and the bathrooms are disgusting. I would recommend that this hotel be shut down !!
