Steve's Ranch - American restaurant in Jackson - 311 W Louis Glick Hwy, USA

Me and my husband ordered the Cod entree with rice. I have never had Cod that I could not cut through with a knife. The meal was just not up to par. I do generally love this place they have a fabulous salad bar it's not elaborate but it's everything you need and it's very fresh and good. And generally the food here is very good just must have been a off night. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food you get it's one of those things where sometimes you just have a bad night this place has a very cozy relaxing atmosphere in good Hometown cooking

Sat near the fire place on a cold day and had a wonderful dinner experience. The waitress,Jen was absolutely perfect. Knew the menu and made great recommendations. The salad bar with fresh made dressings and the desserts were the absolute highlights for us.

The desert cake was a severe disappointment. Was my bday dinner, so order a slice of cake. Iirc it cost 10 to 12 dollars. The slice might have been an inch thick at its thick side, extremely dry and tasted old. The tbone was atleast cooked to my request but was tasteless, meaning no seasoning whatsoever. Obviously steak sauce was used. My wife's food was just as bad. However the open face sandwich looked good but dont recall if she said if it was good.

Locally owned and operated. Party of two. Fast friendly service. Breakfast buffet has plenty of options for everyone. We decided to try farmers omelettes. (average) Homemade cakes and pies looked amazing. Atmosphere and furniture very dated.

Food is okay not over the top or the worse I have had decor is like a step back in time and the best part of this restaurant is the homemade desserts love them

$16 for 3 golf ball sized pieces of fish, and what would amount to a small McDonalds fry is a bit much to start, but to have the fish be dry and chewy despite being deep fried was too much for me. A lot of the reviews say they're fairly priced, but, I don't really think $15.99 for a super basic salad bar isn't really fair, hell, adding it to a $20+ dollar meal cost $8.99 for 1 trip! The audacity is disrespectful. To top it all off, my wife ordered a basic burger, amd it came out pink to the very edge, and red in the middle... they remade it and it came out charred and crunchy. We won't be going back.

The food was decent and prices were fair, but that's not why I'm leaving a 5-star review. My fiancé and I came here and we had the best experience because of the staff! They are all so kind and it has a very home-like atmosphere. Steve's Ranch went above and beyond in service and that's what makes a great restaurant in my mind.

The food is so good, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is old school awesomeness! I went here on my birthday and loved it. I recommend you go here for good food and awesome service!
