I had a very positive experience during my first visit with Dr Shechtman. All the staff I met in his office were very friendly and professional. Dr Shechtman was friendly, personable and very knowledgeable. He was very thorough in his physical exam and explained very well about his plan of care. I was impressed. Highly recommend Dr Shechtman!

Where do I even start. Just Don’t Go! Office closes early on Fridays without any notice to patients as they are supposedly open every day f/t. Office manager is the worst person to deal with anything let alone issues she is supposed to solve. She only makes things worse with her poor communication skills displaying a complete disrespect, disregard and introducing new elements to the mix, which were not even an issue according to the patient, only to complicate things. She later tells the doctor that I decided to eat prior to a blood test, instead of telling doctor Shechtman the truth that their office specifically advised me not to fast beforehand. Dr. Completely believes his (ongoing and ever changing) staff and does not discuss it with patient, does not try to get to the root of the problem, hence discounting several issues which were never worked out by the office manager to begin with. One of which was ordering another blood test troubling me to go to another Laboratory for the second time for the same test. Claiming there will be an insurance issue which I usually don’t have with my federal health insurance, nor did I bring this subject up at any point. Once again the horrendous office manager brings new subjects into the equation, only to complicate matters instead of simplifying. *Blood test and such used to exist in this office , however now you must drag yourself to a lab for everything. Office manager has extremely poor communication skills if any. She is disrespectful, displaying disregard, distrust and argumentative, condescending and constantly puts you down while questioning your “motives”. She questions your honestly as she rebuttals as if this is a fight or competition, and literally complicates the situation every time you say something or dare to complain. After all that is what she is for, bringing solutions and solving problems. Not. This of course only makes any discussion with her frustrating unreasonable and worthless. Having said that as unreasonable as it is, the Dr. will Only take her side. Doctor is very shallow and does not go to the depth of issues, rather always refers you to another doctor from his impersonal master list, and maybe gives you a basic medication any PA can. Rather a band aid not a lasting cure, given by a very young inexperienced physician. Disappointing and just not worth your trouble and time. Dr. Checks you so quickly and tells you that you can use their portal if you have questions or issues, as he quickly holds the door handle while still talking, than exiting the room. First time after three years, I finally did use the bay care portal for few times, corresponding with the Dr and apparently his staff too about a continuous health problem, which will not go away following my Dr visit, since I had finished medication to no avail, as all I received is a complaint that I use the portal too much, although a feed back from the office to me back and forth was ongoing. I will note that I have several physicians in my family as unfortunately they are all out of state, so I am/was always in the loop… Blood test and other tests used to exist in this office in the first year they were open three years ago, however now you must drag yourself to a lab for everything. If you have pressing issues they can’t be bothered. Just come, pay, leave, and they hope to not hear from you after your visit. The service is declining and is minimized to a lower level each and every time. You would wonder why they do have openings. The phone or their calling “system “ always have issues as many of times it just rings forever without anyone answering or the voicemail never comes up. When you question it to one of the office staff, they always blame the phone company but things are never been corrected ever. I have been with my other two doctor for 27 and 31 years. I can’t even start to measure the difference in care. My husband, my son and myself will not be subject to this as this office/doctor will lose three patients all at once. Not- Bay Care, but rather- Bad Care.

Just an okay experience with Dr. Shechtman. He did listen, but . . . .We were told there was a lab at this office. There is not. We do not want to go to a doctor's office, a lab, a radiology place, etc. Had we been told accurate information to begin with, we wouldn't have made the appointment. Also, needed to see a specialist, Dr S gives a name and number, a doctor should know you need a referral, getting that has been a pain! Patients shouldn't have to do the work of the doctor and their staff.

Dr. Shechtman is an excellent medical professional. I’ve visited with four other primary care physicians and have been dissatisfied. Dr. Shechtman knew my history, understood my current medical issues, spent the time, and made suggestions for better health in my future. I have found MY Doctor!

I was a new patient, the check in was simple and painless. There was a bit of a wait and that was concerning, but after Dr. S's nurse brought me back and explained there was a situation. My nurse was amazing and compassionate. She is made for the medical field. Dr. S came in and addressed my concerns and was attentive and I am glad to have found a great practice.

I must admit that I look forward to every appointment with this wonderful physician! He is well-knowledged, friendly and always willing to answer my questions and respond to any concerns with performing the examination relating to the patient's concern. All aspects of the appointment are performed with prompt and respectful attention and professionalism. I am so pleased with my decision to switch to this practice.

We had to use Cloud9 Studios last minute for our son’s birthday shoot and had a great experience. The shooting session was great - they had great props, backdrops and lighting. Jeanine, the owner, is amazing! Go ahead and book them!
