This is a very homey-feeling type of restuarant. The food is made to order & they have a lot to choose from. The chicken broccoli casserole is one of my favorites, I love that it's all the actual ingredients w/o all the fillers. The peach cobbler is the best I've had in years! If I lived closer I'd probably eat that once a week, lol! Customer service was cool, our server seemed overwhelmed but she did what she had to do to keep the tables flowing as smoothly as possible. My husband had the chitlins which he loved, and everyone else at our table was just fine with their food. We'll be back.
Let me start with, the price is right! The food is acceptable for the value. The service was outstanding and very personalized. Our waitress explained that if we were not satisfied with any part of our meal to let her know and she would try to make it better.
Stephanie's Restaurant II was slammed on a Sunday afternoon. People were in and out grabbing to go orders. Most tables seemed full. Between the big dining room and the main restaurant there were at least 70 people seated. The servers were efficient and the kitchen was working hard to meet the demand. Our server, Tiffany T., was gracious and welcomed us as if we were old friends. She made us feel right at home and kept us informed about our food. I chose the fried pork chop plate with baked beans, sweet potato and corn bread. The pork chop was fried to perfection, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The baked beans were tender and tasted of a hint of brown sugar. The sweet potato was perfect too. The skin pulled away easily to give access to the deep orange flesh that was so sweet I didn't need the cinnamon sugar that accompanied it. The cornbread has a moist crumb, almost cake-like, but not too sweet. I left Stephanie's II feeling nourished and maybe just a little bit loved. I look forward to stopping in again and genuinely regret that to get there takes a four hour drive. And maybe next time I'll have room for dessert.
Ordered dinner last night. Two hamburger steak dinners with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes for both plates. Mac and cheese was disgusting. They literally just took shredded cheese and put it on top of cooked noodles. The cheese wasn’t even melted. Hamburger steak was burnt and nasty. Mashed potatoes were plain and bland.
Went the Stehanie’s before a concert and it was worth it. The fried chicken was fried to perfection, the yams and collards were great. I had a slice of red velvet cake and it wasn’t that great maybe a 6/10. But overall the food was good and the service was fast.
Great suggestion from one of the girls in my group. Attending a conference in Greensboro for the weekend. None of the six ladies had ever been to this establishment. The goal was to get vegetables. But as one looks at the pictures you see more. The yams are the best things ever. The fried turkey wings and gravy was said to be wonderful. Beef tips were delicious. Meatloaf was delicious as well. One girl got a fish sandwich and she devoured it. We were sitted promptly. Now our waitress was very patient and thorough. Even writing every order correctly. The establishment is able to accommodate large amounts of customers. A birthday party was present(about 15 to 18). And 3 different groups of the ladies from the conference showed up. Check out was a breeze. Update..I also got the sweet potato cobbler and it was heaven in my mouth.
Absolutely loved the food! Whenever I come home to visit my family, we're going to eat here again. I got the Yams, mac & cheese, and fried chicken strips. Everything was cook to perfection. Chicken was juicy. It didn't take long for our food to come out. We asked to be seated in an area that didn't have too many people so they let us pick where we wanted to be seated. The portions are large so you'll probably have some food to take home too.
It was nice to have dinner where you can get a home cooked meal

Great food! We all loved our brunches. Jordan was our server and she was patient and attentive. Told us some of the background about the restaurant while people decided on drinks. You can tell that everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. Yum.

Absolutely Delicious!!! I had fried pork chops with collards , candied yams and hush puppies. My daughter had fried whiting with cabbage, fried squash & cornbread. We would definitely visit again the next time we in Greensboro. Reminded me of dinner
Brandon is an awesome coach. I took a workout class with him and learned some new workouts and had a great time. He's a great coach and a great person. Highly recommend!
My favorite coffee shop, itâs the spot for the cozy girlies. My partner brought me here for the first time and since then itâs been the spot. I like their lattes and egg omelette.
